MeeRun Sports Tracker
MeeRun is a GPS Sports Tracking application which provides a user-friendly and powerful way to manage your sport activities. It has a strong focus on accuracy and usability but also provides innovative and unique features like the facility to replay a session, a detailed elevation profile and an integrated lock screen.

Heart Rate Monitoring
To be able to monitor your heart rate, you will need a Bluetooth (non-smart) device (Zephy HxM BT, Polar Wearlink+, ...). Sports Tracker devices have been reported to work but are not officially supported

I heard that Meerun is not functional on Update 10. Is there any plan to fix that? Because I don't want to loose Meerun, but I would like to upgrade the phone...

Hi,
Very nice application but not suitable for cycling. In this case, the application loses the GPS signal a lot of time, so the results (distance, speed, path), are wrong.
Works well with slower activities.

The app is really very good.
It has started to crash for me after the opt-in upgrade to the new Sailfish OS. It fails to initialise and never reaches the full screen mode.

Hello,
thank you for developing and porting this sport tracking software to Sailfish OS. I like this app a lot.
I'm using Meerun 1.8.4 on Sailfish OS 1.0.8.19 and still the Demo activiy in the workout-list is highly persistence.
Some glitch I've discovered importing activities. MeeRun has created the folder "/Documents/MeeRun/import", but when select to import the software is stating to put all files into "/documents/trainings/cascarun_import". I guess the former folder is right, despite I have still problems to import.

Hi,
First of all thank you for the great Meerun app.
Secondly, I faced following issue: I exported some workouts from Sports Tracker and imported those into Meerun. Seems that Meerun takes them all as running exercise even there were cycling and XC skiing included. Is this known issue? Or am I missing something?

Just came back from a small mountain bike tour (Lainz ;))
Sadly the phone was extremly unresponsive, sound stucked everytime I woke up the phone.
Back home meerun remained completly black, track seems to be gone forever :(
Maybe it works better with the latest update, it's a nice piece of software.

The new 1.8.3 release contains many improvement and addresses most issues pointed out in this forum.
Some of the changes:
- Fixed many issues in dialogs (including non-working comboboxes for settings, like map provider selection)
- Improved UI (progress popup, colors, pulldown menus, ...)
- Fixed bug in exported GPX file
- New features (more activities, crash recovery, ...)
- Smoother map animations (when using the timeline)
- And many more bug fixes and improvements...
Not tested / feedback needed:
- Audio-feedback
To be done:
- Application cover
- Translations (help needed for Russian, Chinese, Italian and Spanish)
To be improved:
- Application icon (any help is welcome!)
Not yet implemented / waiting for SDK updates...:
- Support for Bluetooth Smart monitors
- E-mail/social sharing

Hello!
Thank you for this wonderful application!
I would like to further confirm that Sports Tracker HRM "ST HRM 1.01" which I bought as being compatible with Nokia N9, can be simply searched and paired using Jolla bluetooth settings, and used in MeeRun.
Now, let's see how I can push the saved run I'm about to begin to Sports Tracker... :)

I tried the ST HRM2. It pairs ok and meerun finds it, but when i enable it doesn't get any HRM data. I also have a n older one probably the same as direc, but the batt holder is faulty and I don't know if I can get it to work anymore.

Ok. Got the old one to work. It shows as Polar iWL. Got some serious average when roller skating..;-)
And when exported and imported to Sportstracker it also gets the HR data. Nice!!

We will need to check the API. I think it is not yet directly supported by the SDK but maybe I am wrong.
