Cool app, it's very well done. If I had to pick an example app that shows the full potential of the OS and of Sailfish GUI elements, this would be it!
A question: would it be feasible to integrate "training programs" into Meerun? I started the c25k (couch to 5k) program and could not find any app that provided audio guidance. A search for "couch" on openrepos brought me here. Since the program consists in run/walk intervals of different times, I need some app to guide me via audio feedback.
Thanks!

I'm currently experiencing a bug with the latest meerun version. When I'm tracking my activity the app very often crashes. When I look at my jolla after a time and click the meerun icon a loading icon appears and then goes away without any reaction. When I start meerun again after that a can restore my activity but the part after it has crashed misses. So I can see that the crash allready happened some time before I looked at my jolla.
Any advice?

For SFOS 2.0.1.7: In the meantime you can re-install MeeRun using this commands: https://together.jolla.com/question/127052/meerun-removed-during-update-...

Worked for me too, with 2.0.1.11! Now that Taalojärvi is public, this dependency issue should really be dealt with quite swiftly.

With the newest sailfishos release 2.0.1.7 (currently early access), the package gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg is no longer available. Therefore, meerun can no longer be installed.
Even worse: it is automatically removed during the update.
Please remove this dependency to make it possible to have meerun on sailfish devices also in the future.
Thanks!

I Love the MeeRun App, got it on all my platforms, even a Blackberry!!
But I need a heart monitor, that I can wear on my wrist
So, does MeeRun support "Fit charge HR" via Bluetooth, this would be fantastic!!
Or the LifeTrak Zone C410???

Enyone else has this kind of problem in Sailfish 1.1.9.28 when you start a workout? Half of the workout list can be seen then and during a workout. http://i.imgur.com/ZrMImBV.png
Edit: If I press "Go" in the right corner this does not happen. But if I swipe then this happens.

Is it intended that gps stays active after you complete the workout? You have to close the app to disconnect the gps. I guess there might be some benefits for some people in that. But it might save some battery if gps would not be active after workout.
And one feature request you might consider:
I have chosen to group the activities by month. It might be useful to implement feature that you could see all the current month's workouts but other months would be collapsed and you could only see those months time of workouts and distance and you have to press somewhere to expand the month and then you could see the workouts of that month. And maybe collapse all the previous years. But I guess then there would have to be ability to expand all months and see it like it now. Or something like that. If I remember right Sports tracker does it like that. But I don't know how good this would be those who want to group workouts by week or day.

Thank you very much for this superb app. I use it a lot and really wouldn't miss it.
Unfortunately, audio feedback is not working for me either. I have found the following log lines that indicate a problem when playing the audio files:
Maybe this helps you to find the issue. Keep up the good work!

It would be nice if you add some note after workout like "easy" or "hard".Or is it possible?

Hi, application is great, however synchronization seems to be very slow (the dot slowly blinking for half an hour or so) and in addition I do not manage to synchronize long workout, even hikes of 3-4 hours. Application on jolla says - green - synchronized, while the workout does not appear on the webpage. And there is nothing I can do, because webpage does not allow to load gps files.
Cheers, Mariusz

Hi, I noticed that the missing workouts do appear on the web portal if I go to Activity Settings and just press OK. That solves the problem! Cheers, Mariusz

Hey! First things first, this app is awesome and has got my lazy arse off the couch, nice. But, when I select canoeing, it reverts to running - cool, if you're Jesus, but I'm not so not that convenient. :) Also if you could add basic rowing that would be super cool. Thanks for the fish...oh, wait.. thanks for the app!

Does MeeRun also work with watches with build-in heart rate monitor, such as the Garmin Fenix or Polar V800 etc.?

Hi! Very good app, use it each time I go out running!
Just to let you know, when renaming a workout, the keyboard comes on the name and we can't see what we are writting.
Plus, with last version, here what I found:
In other words, I didn't see any change with new version, I double check that I installed it correctly before writting this comment.
These are just minor issues for me, the app is already very good and very useful to me! Thank you very much.
