This project is about extending gabble, the Telepathy XMPP connection manager. While mainline gabble is quite conservative in its XMPP features, some features are essential for use within mobile environments, e.g. notebooks or smartphones with unstable network. Some work has been done for:

Sharing plugin which opens link in the associated application. When multiple applications can open links, standard 'Open link' dialog is shown.

This little plugin is especially useful when you want to share web URL from SFOS browser to any other application like Microtube, Webcat, Jupii and many more.

A carbon enabled xmpp client will receive copies of the messages sent by another of your resources. If that resource supports and sends read markers, your carbon receiving client would be able to remove the related notifications.

The commhistory-daemon is responsible for handling notifications and has been modified to remove them due to read notifications of other clients.

As root (devel-su) edit the file /usr/share/applications/voltfish.desktop
