Hydroxide UI

The harbour-hydroxide-ui is a Sailfish OS helper application for managing the Hydroxide Proton Mail bridge service. (hydroxide-service)

The app allows you to:

• start and stop the Hydroxide service
• generate Proton Mail bridge passwords
• copy bridge passwords for use in Sailfish Email settings
• view and remove configured Proton Mail accounts

Once the bridge password is generated, you can add your Proton Mail account to Settings → Accounts → Other email using the local bridge.

Hydroxide (service)

The harbour-hydroxide installs the Hydroxide bridge service for Sailfish OS.It connects to Proton Mail through the Proton API and exposes a local IMAP and SMTP interface so Proton Mail accounts can be used with the native Sailfish Email application.

The bridge listens locally on the device and does not expose any external network services.

This fork adds a Settings page (found under Favs) to permit you to add a Tankerkoenig api key.  You will need a key to use the api for this plugin.

Supports GPS lookups.

Byteshark

ByteShark is a simple data shredder that overwrites files with random bytes three times before permanently removing them. Sailfish's filesystem is normally encrypted, so deleting files and restarting the device should suffice. However, this app provides an extra layer of security. Bear in mind that most file systems use journaling, and hard drives perform wear-leveling. Therefore, data traces or metadata may still persist elsewhere.
