LocalSend (Unofficial App)

Send files to nearby devices. No account, no cloud, no Internet (well, kind of, it still needs the Sailjail Internet permission to do anything at all).

LocalSend is AirDrop in the open: two devices on the same network find each other and exchange files directly. This is a LocalSend client for Sailfish OS, written in Qt and Silica, speaking the same v2 protocol as the official Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux apps.

Customize every key, add new keys, create custom long-press characters, and build a keyboard that fits your needs. Add an extra row, adjust the keyboard height, and customize the bottom offset.

After installing the app, enable Custom Keyboard in the Sailfish OS keyboard settings and select it as your active keyboard.

Known limitation:

A PieFed client.

Ddclient is a Perl client used to update dynamic DNS entries for accounts on many different dynamic DNS services. Features include: Operating as a daemon, manual and automatic updates, static and dynamic updates, optimized updates for multiple addresses, MX, wildcards, abuse avoidance, retrying the failed updates and sending update status to syslog and through e-mail.

A simple patch that adds a small application badge to running apps visible in Homescreen.

Known issues:

• sometimes when apps are launched in non-standard way the badge is missing

If you want, you can start and stop it using the Cover layout.

Subscribe to RSS feeds and see them on your Sailfish Events Feed!

Install this, then add with Settings>Account>Add account.

The most recent entries of all feeds are listed together in the events view, sorted by date.

You can dismiss them individually or all at once to clear your feed.

Newer versions of SailfishOS might be able to open the subscribe page directly from the browser or other apps.
