Foil Pics

Foil Pics allows you to encrypt some pictures from the gallery with a password stronger than the lock code. Strictly speaking, each picture is encrypted with a unique random 256-bit AES key which in turn is encrypted with an RSA key which in turn is encrypted with your password. If the bad guys get your encrypted pictures, they would have to crack the AES key (different for each picture) or the RSA key (shared by all pictures but harder to crack) in order to extract the content. If they get the encrypted RSA key as well, then they can brute force your password.

Foil Auth

Secure OTP (One-Time Password) generator for Sailfish OS.

Foil Auth keeps secret authentication keys encrypted with your Foil password. Supports time-based (TOTP), counter-based (HOTP) and Steam passwords. Tokens can be shared and imported via QR codes.

Foil password (and the RSA encryption key ~/.local/share/foil/foil.key) is shared with Foil Pics and Foil Notes. Encrypted authentication keys for OTP generation are stored in ~/Documents/FoilAuth.

rpm (legacy SFOS 3.4 - 4.2)

in SFOS 4.5 jolla switched default rpm package compression to zstd. Older versions of SFOS need a zstd-enabled version of rpm to install those packages.
This is such a version for SFOS 3.4 - 4.2 (4.3 has had a update to rpm 4.16 and is not supported here)

If you are on SFOS 3.4 and you want to install this manually via command line: DO NOT USE pkcon
please use rpm or zypper instead

Was

The unofficial application for Synology Photos on SailfishOS.

What works: Login by quickconnect from local network and over the Internet. You can browse photos placed on shared and personal spaces. And for first version is just that.

What not work but looking like it should are movies. For now i cannot force them to play correctly.

For next release i want to focus on uploading/downloading photos.

Tested on xperia 10 III and Synology DS223

If you liked my work please buy me a beer ;)

Foil Notes

Foil Notes allows you to encrypt notes with a password stronger than the lock code. Strictly speaking, each note is encrypted with a unique random 256-bit AES key which in turn is encrypted with an RSA key which in turn is encrypted with your password. If the bad guys get your encrypted notes, they would have to crack the AES key (different for each note) or the RSA key (shared by all notes but harder to crack) in order to extract the content. If they get the encrypted RSA key as well, then they can brute force your password.
