Midnight Commander is a visual shell much like a file manager, only with many more features. It is a text mode application. Midnight Commander's best features are its ability to FTP, view tar and zip files, and to poke into RPMs for specific files.

Libevent – an event notification library

The libevent API provides a mechanism to execute a callback function when a specific event occurs on a file descriptor or after a timeout has been reached. Furthermore, libevent also support callbacks due to signals or regular timeouts.

libevent is meant to replace the event loop found in event driven network servers. An application just needs to call event_dispatch() and then add or remove events dynamically without having to change the event loop.

Music Explorer

Music Explorer lets you look up information about artists and albums, watch music videos or download and play audio.
This is still a development version so please expect things to change.

Rwx-calc is a small utility for calculating file and directory permissions as found on Unix/Linux like system, including the Jolla.

You can provide the absolute octal values, but also press on the individual permission to see the effect on the fly.

The help screen will provide some additional info on the permissions if needed.

This is a simple viewer for PassBook® files.

The app searches the file system, starting in the home directory, for passes, and shows them in a list. A tap on the pass shows the details including the barcode (usually the most important thing). The design is simplified compared to the original app, but should be readable.
