Known Issues: receiving a message from an unknown contact is not properly managed, as a work around you can read the message from the official client and add the contact to your contact list.

I added a lengthy comment the other day and it didn't get published? I've installed the app', my phones up to date, it's the latest version etc etc - I can't so much as add a number, regardless of what format i try, I had an activation code, but can't use the app' at all, I'd like to get away from whatsapp, and android app's but at this rate I can't, any help please? Tried reinstalling, same deal. . . . . . . .

Installing Android Telegram syncs all the telegram clients registred to that number, at least i figured it out, so you can have your mobile contacts on PC for example, and i just discovered it works with Jollagram too! So for now we can save some time adding all the contacts by this way.
Really looking forward some improvements in this app, great job so far!
PS anche tu italiano? manteniamo alto l'orgoglio nazionale ;)

Awesome work, thanks for that!
It worked perfectly for me for a few days, but since today, the application is crashing as soon as I launch it.
I changed nothing, any hint on what I could do?

ok, got some more details: it appears Jollagram crashes only when I open a specific conversation, with some unread messages (36, as I read them on my Linux desktop).
The other conversations open just fine.
How to proceed?

replying to myself, as Marko emailed me directly: removing the directory /home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-jollagram/avatars fixed the issue.
Just stop Jollagram before removing it, then open it again, and it's all fixed :)

Is it possible to add all contacts from the simcard? or do I have to add all my contacts by writing their phonenumber in the app?
When a friend tried to send a message to me ( befor he was added ) I could not see what number it was from, and I was no able to reply to it.

Sorry for bugs in this version, but I was hoping to release the app later this year.
The problem of duplicate messages should occur for messages received and not yet read at the time of reconnection.
If this is the problem, I'm working on it.
