xz-lzma

XZ-format compression utilities - compatibility commands
XZ is the successor to the Lempel-Ziv/Markov-chain Algorithm
compression format, which provides memory-hungry but powerful
compression (often better than bzip2) and fast, easy decompression.
.
This package provides symbolic links allowing xz-utils to provide the
same interface for manipulating LZMA files as the lzma package. The
xz-utils package can handle LZMA files on its own; this package is
only necessary when using scripts or other programs that require the

alien

convert and install rpm and other packages
Alien allows you to convert LSB, Red Hat, Stampede and Slackware Packages
into Debian packages, which can be installed with dpkg.
.

.
This is a tool only suitable for binary packages.

esound-common

Enlightened Sound Daemon - Common files

libjson-glib-doc

GLib JSON manipulation library (documentation)

Object Notation (JSON) data streams using the GLib type system. It allows
manipulating JSON data types with a Document Object Model API. It also

This package contains the documentation.

oggconvert

convert media files to free formats
OggConvert is a small GNOME utility which uses GStreamer to convert
(almost) any media file to the patent-free Ogg Vorbis, Theora and
Dirac formats.
.
The main interesting points are:
* It is very easy to use: drag a file onto the source bar (or use
the file chooser) and hit Convert button. Of course, you can also change
the video format, quality settings and the output filename if you like.
* It uses GStreamer, so it can convert (almost) any file Totem can play.

libalgorithm-diff-perl

module to find differences between files
Algorithm::Diff is a Perl module that allows users to analyze text based on a
Longest Common Subsequence (LCS) algorithm. It can compare two files and find
the differences between them, which can produce the same information as the
common Unix tool 'diff'.
.
There is an XS-optimized implementation of the core loop, which accelerates
some types of diff output (see libalgorithm-diff-xs-perl).

python-medusa-doc

Framework for implementing asynchronous servers
Medusa is a 'server platform' -- it provides a framework for
implementing asynchronous socket-based servers (TCP/IP and on Unix,
Unix domain, sockets).
.
This package contains the documentation for Medusa.

2ping

Ping utility to determine directional packet loss
2ping is a bi-directional ping utility. It uses 3-way pings (akin to
TCP SYN, SYN/ACK, ACK) and after-the-fact state comparison between a
2ping listener and a 2ping client to determine which direction packet
loss occurs.
