SkippingStones enables the usage of Pebble smart watches with a Jolla smartphone.

Please make sure that watch and phone are properly paired via the phones system settings.

Please also note that, right now, scanning for a watch did not work reliably. You need to manually enter the address of the watch in the according field in SkippingStones.

The application allows to disable screensaver and set brightness. (Some apps don't disable screensaver).

OpenJDK Runtime Environment

Nasty hackery, I know. No GUI stuff, graphical stuff etc (we have no GTK)

Commandline crap works though, see screenshots.

Stuff is installed in /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.7.0-icedtea-1.7.0/jre

Dont forget to set PATHs, JAVA_HOME etc to match this

Integral v0.8 is an easy to use, free and open-source application to calculate mathematical integrals, indefinite and definite, symbolically or numerically.

Integral for Sailfish OS uses Python 3 and PyOtherSide, so you need Sailfish v1.0.3.8 (31/01/2014) or newer.

chkconfig

Chkconfig is a basic system utility.  It updates and queries runlevel
information for system services.  Chkconfig manipulates the numerous
symbolic links in /etc/rc.d, to relieve system administrators of some
of the drudgery of manually editing the symbolic links.

Headphone Fix

Do you have issues with your headphones?

With this small tool, it could be (hopefully) fixed.

  • Open the app
  • Plug in the headphones
  • Select the desired fix
  • You can close the app once you've selected the fix.

Remember that you need to use the fix again once you've plugged the headphone out.

Please note that specific headphones that are made for iPhones or Android decives aren't compatible with the Nokia N9, BUT there is a work around:
