Harmoji is the Harmattan implementation of Emoji. Harmoji enables the viewing of Emoji characters throughout the system, as well as inputting them.

It supports all the emoji found in the iOS (Incl. iOS6) and Android versions.

Before anybody asks; Sadly, it does not allow iPhone users to send a text containing Emoji. That is a bug in Harmattan itself.

Charger control is designed for the original Jolla Phone and allows you to control how the battery is charged/discharged when a USB cable is connected.

Quokka Ambience

A simple ambience based on a photograph of a Quokka taken on Rottnest Island near Perth, Australia. The ambience doesn't contain any sound files so the default SailfishOS notifications are used.

Clutch (Transmission Frontend)

A Silica frontend for the Transmission Torrent Client.

At present Clutch is quite simple, but it allows Transmisison to be used without touching the CLI.

Clutch starts transmission-daemon when the app is opened, and displays the web UI where you can upload .torrent files and monitor the progress of your torrents. The transmission process is automatically killed when the app closes.

A few modifications have been made to the Silica WebView to improve the Transmission Web UI's ease of use:

Inception gives you deep control of your Nokia N9.

The Nokia N9 is an amazing piece of hardware running an amazing mobile OS. However, advanced users have often been frustrated by its sometimes-limiting Aegis security system. Aegis, like many other security frameworks, blocks many legitimate tasks beyond truly dangerous activity, and makes it difficult to customize your N9 to run on your terms.

nmon is a systems administrator, tuner, benchmark tool. It can display the CPU, memory, network, disks (mini graphs or numbers), file systems, NFS, top processes, resources (Linux version & processors) and on Power micro-partition information.

Data is displayed on the screen and updated once every two seconds, using a dumb screen. However, you can easily change this interval to a longer or shorter time period.

The nmon tool can also capture the same data to a text file for later analysis and graphing for reports. The output is in a spreadsheet format (.csv).

 

htop2.0

Htop is an ncursed-based process viewer similar to top, but it allows one to scroll the list vertically and horizontally to see all processes and their full command lines. Tasks related to processes (killing, renicing) can be done without entering their PIDs.

In February 2016 htop2.0 was released with multiple enhancements. This is latest version of htop build for Sailfish. This will override htop from mer-tools repository.
