This app is an alternative youtube client. You can watch videos and subscribe to channels. Subscriptions are offline.

WARNING: This app requires yt-dlp to work, installation of yt-dlp as well as keeping it updated is user's responsibility. You also will need deno if you want to seek with avc1 (+ on some videos it provides formats normally not available without it). In diagnostics (settings -> pulldown menu) you can verify that microtube can use yt-dlp, and for microtube to use yt-dlp it needs to be in standard path (/usr/bin worked for me, but adding path in .profile did not).

Instructions on how to install yt-dlp/deno

Subscriptions import and liking/disliking video is only available if you add api key but API KEY IS NOT REQUIRED if it's not clear enough.

Subscriptions can be imported. Import is in pulldown menu on subscriptions page.

To cast to jupii, jupii needs to be running first and connected to device.

It's because port is trash. Consider buying oneplus 6(t) as its way better port maintained by me.

Links to Shorts video (from Fernschreiber for example) not opening in Microtube :( Sfos open dialog window "Open with.." then Microtube starts, trying to search video by link, but not found.

Hi, installation on SFOS 4.6.0.11 is failing, because of broken depencency on libQt5SystemInfo.so.5. When new SDK version will be available, it will need to be recompiled...
