Okay, thanks! Could you make the setting optional four opening urls with Microtube? I hardly ever need it. It remains after uninstalling too, which is not very useful. The app is very promising though, thanks four developing!

The app works amazing for me, but only on WiFi. On mobile data, it exits the app after a sec or two. Also, how does one import the subscriptions?

Could you give more info how did you test subscriptions import? I saved youtube.com to html in both Firefox and Edge (Chromium) and in both the app didn't do anything. Did you do it with Chrome, any other settings necessary?

Yes! History, that's what I meant. I expressed myself poorly, but I see you're getting good at interpreting comments here, haha.
I believe swipes to rew and ffw are still soo much easier, especially over very long videos, but here we enter a subjective preference, so I see your point in not adding even more gestures. And to be frank the double tap (which I had not found, there you go) still serves my purposes most of the time, so thanks for pointing that out.
The strange thing about categories is that the the app never recovers usability once you tap on the not-working ones. But once newcomers know that they need to stay away from those, that's fine.
Btw I love the subscriptions offline and integration with jupii (it took me a while to find the button, I was looking in the share menu first).
Thanks for your work - Happy user here...

History will be added to the categories view but some times later.
Yeah doubletap is more generally known, like if you come from android doubletap will be home for you. I should make some in app tutorial for first use of gestures because people don't know about audio only mode too :/
I know about not recovering from the error. Wanted to find why is that but got nowhere and it works without that so… i'll fix it some day
Thanks for using my app and support :3

That you found a workaround for the YT API is really epic. It deserves much more buzz... maybe it needs to be advertised earlier in the description ;) For many of us API=no more youtube app, now we have it again. Yay!
Here is a little feedback while testing on my XA2, SFOS 3.04. I open and the screen gets populated with suggestions for most popular videos (default), I can click on them, and also search works. Troubles start if I move left, to the category pages. "Most popular" category still work, but if I click on music or gaming I get an empty screen with search field only. If I try to search anything I get the "check internet connection" message and from now it will follow me anywhere in the app: it will appear even under an already playing video, replacing every viedeo suggestion that was there before. Search won't work any longer either, I can only restart the app - or watch the rest of the video :) If I choose e.g. "music" as the default category in settings and restart the app, I get nothing, a blank page from the start (and "check internet" message if I search).
Now a humble feature suggestion: would it not be nice if, when playing full screen, a swipe left or right would FFW or REW the video? Exactly the way it is working with a vertical swype for the volume (It would work wonders for things like tutorial videos where you keep going back). How to go back in the app then? Just as it is now: after you tap on the video you get the chance to swype back. This would focus the viewing mode on video controls and you get further actions only after you tap .
Also it would be wonderful if one of the categories was "recently viewed".
Imho after these it would get the nirvana of a YT app :)

About the categories. For some countries it doesn't display them properly, can't do much about it. For example if you select country japan then gaming and music works. So just try to avoid them i really can't do anything about that
About the rewinding. just doubleclick to scroll by 5 seconds. if you want more then just use the progress bar imo. Also left/right swipe is for going back to videos list, could be removed but i don't think thats good idea :/ Microtube player has so many gestures that people forget about most of them lol
Categories are youtube categories so recently viewed is something completely different. But i was thinking about including history cause we are missing it.

Really nice! The App is working fine again. Finally a working Youtube clientwithout having to strip your personal data :)
One suggestion, i know Jolla changed App Thumbnails to not rotate anymore. But would it be possible to make the content flippable? The thumbnail is quite big, but the video in it, quite small, as it is played in portrait mode instead of horizontal mode. I mean just as an option. So that flipping the phone would get the video in horizontal mode. F. ex. for a long travel, or if you lay down the couch, doesn't matter which orientation your phone has, but the video size is more important. Thanks! :)

I'm not really sure what do you mean. I assume you are talking about app cover on the main screen. And you want to video in it be horizontal when your phone is in landscape so technically the covers stay vertical, don't rotate with your phone but you want the video to rotate 90° and fill the cover?
