Thanks a lot for the v0.1.3 update! So much to deal with!
One question: Depecher has a very clever way of "auto-cleaning" the downloaded data after a few days, so that it never weight so much as an app... Did you ever look into that feature?
Greetings and Thanks!

1 gonna be not an alpha, i originally wanted to release it "ready" with complete feature set. When i achieve that, i'll release non alpha and focus on bufixes and improvements

Super cool to see all the progress! Been struggling with all the other TG options and finally there is a fresh take! A few things that would make my life easier (but not necessarily your life lol):
- Posting into channels I am an admin of - at the moment the input field is disabled
- Search in the chats list to match a part of the channel / group / user name. E.g. If the channel name is "Amiga Forever" I want to be able to find it by typing "Forever". Right now I can only find it by "Amiga"
- Forwarding a message by long pressing it - right now it's possible to Reply, Edit, Select etc. but not forward. I know the long tap menu is super long - maybe it can be a list of icons instead like in Nanofiles.
- Cover displaying the number of unread messages and the user name of the last sender
- Bigger photo / video previews - too often it's hard to guess what's inside the image without tapping into it
- Seeing the full user information by tapping on their avatar

"- Posting into channels I am an admin of - at the moment the input field is disabled"
Same issue as with deleting messages, incorrect own permissions, going to be fixed in next release (actually giving me headache right now)
"- Search in the chats list to match a part of the channel / group / user name."
search is super super basic its not even from telegram. Search will be added later
"Forwarding a message by long pressing it"
Yeah its long thats why u gotta select it first. But wait! I just got idea typing this, we got unused doubleclick gesture, we could use that for selecting!
"Cover displaying the number of unread messages and the user name of the last sender"
The first one is already done in next update (u can follow trello for upcomming changes). The latter one, hardly doable, not for now, and don't think anyone needs it really
"- Bigger photo / video previews - too often it's hard to guess what's inside the image without tapping into it"
Ye i know i've increased their size a bit in next release but will increase even more
"- Seeing the full user information by tapping on their avatar" that's another entire feature, maybe in 2 releases from now, hard to tell

Lots of cool features coming indeed!
Trello is also a really nice way to follow your work...
One short question about the "send" icon that you induced in last update as an alternative to click the "enter" button to send a message: could the option of having "send button" disable sending the message with the "enter" keystroke? Therefore for typing it allows to use the enter key for its original typo use to make more spaces in the text...

Hahaha wao! super cool! Yeah i get he point that there is going to be a moment when you'll have to rest and wait for the native android to add more feature since Yottagram would have it all ;) .
Next release is milestone for sure :) !

Every release so far had super huge changelog. For now i'm focusing on covering functionality as much as i can. After functionality is there i can polish it, make it prettier, fix minor graphical bugs, again make things prettier, think about some design improvements. But that's not priority right now as those are good enough and more functionality is definitely more crucial than forcing numbers only keyboard in login wizard (and that's actually also included in next update)

Hey! First thanks a lot for your volunteered hard work!!!
It would be really great if on the main "chats page" (where you see the list of all open chats) there could be an indication if the last message sent has been opened by the destinatory person or not! In the official Telegram Android app OR on Depecher's Sailfish app is translates in showing one or two check signs such as: √ or √√ on the main chat's page.
I guess feature requests better be posted on github...Sorry i dont have account there...
I also guess you have it all planned already since "Plan is to add E V E R Y T H I N G" ;).
So i bet its just about what will be the first priority to add;).
Greetings and thanks!

Yep i already thought about it like 3 times, but since you want it, and its super simple, i'll put it together in like 5 mins for next update. Next update is going to be big. Proper chat messages history. That will be huge milestone as it will allow many actions and features

and do you believe you could manage to get these "ticks" both in the main chat list and also inside each individual chat?

what do you mean?

i mean like having this √ or √√ signs both on the ''main'' chat pages (that shows all open chats, such as here shown : https://telegram.org/file/811140767/2/TogG9vkUvYo.119652/badee5d60730dfe6a2 ) and also after each individual message inside each chat conversation (such as here shows : https://telegram.org/file/811140986/3/cOsdERdWi-A.154455/3c1c59c24251238040 )... This is the way its done in native android or depecher...
Could i explain myself better?
