This package allows You to mount windows/samba shares. Cifs-utils is managing the kernels module support for cifs-shares. The package was originally part of Samba, but have been split off into a separate package.

Only change from the source tgz is a added spec-file.

Works perfectly fine to mount a Samba share with sudo mount //server/folder /mountpoint -o options. Thank you very much for providing this package!
