Unfortunately, the latest update didn't work for long. So both Piepmatz and the Jolla Twitter events view are no longer working. The situation is again as described in the last status update, but you'll have at least the chance to inject own Twitter API credentials via libsailfishkeyprovider if you are so bold to get a license for Twitter API v1.1 access.

Piepmatz supports all the features of Twitter that you need to stay up-to-date. Your personal timeline, notifications, media etc. - coming with a lot of eye-candy!

On a device with a physical keyboard you have the following shortcuts:
- Generic
- Up/down: scroll
- Page up/down: scroll faster
- t/b: Scroll to top / bottom
- Left/Esc: Back
- Only on main screen:
- 1-6: Switch tabs (timeline, notifications, search etc.)
- n: New tweet
- r: Refresh
- s: Settings
- a: About
- On tweet details view:
- Return/Enter: Display thread

Thx for the update. But since upgrading reapplying the alternative theme is working but not for the app icon in app drawer. it won't get changed. Piepmatz issue?

For the app icon, you need a patch as it's not allowed to change the app icon from the app itself. Probably, you only need to reinstall the theme patch from Ferlanero.

Hi,
werkwolf. A possibility to refresh threads instead going back to timeline and reenter the tweet / thread would be very nice and useful. Atm I have to go back and back to the thread to see new comments. Thx for this feature rich client!

That's correct. It's a major update (see the changelog above) and requires a contribution after a 14 days trial period. It's now published by the company WerkWolf because it's complicated for an individual to do business in various countries and for some other legal reasons. Development is still done on https://github.com/Wunderfitz/harbour-piepmatz
A contribution can be done by payment, translation to a new language or by code contribution. Translators and code contributors get a key via e-mail directly from us, those who paid get the key from digistore24. You can choose between 4 payment options, all unlock the whole app. It's up to you to decide which one suits you best and how much you value the work on the app and how much you like the result. :)

Thanks for this great app ;). I have it installed almost from the beginning. But as said already above:
"Saved search" is missing and this prevents to use it as daily Twitter app. As soon as "Saved search" is implemented I will donate XL ;).

Well, the feature hasn't made it into 1.0, but it will most certainly be part of the next one. Just follow issue https://github.com/Wunderfitz/harbour-piepmatz/issues/12 to check when it's done. Very interesting that this one is so important... ;)

I would think Piepmatz is a 'killer app' if saved search of my most favorite Twitter places are shown i.e. ”SailfishOS” or ”JollaHQ”. Have my financial support if this feature is included in future releases!

This is only for Twitter, not for Mastodon. Probably, you mean Tooter for Sailfish OS. This one is done by another author.
