This app is an unofficial discord client. It is still in beta, so expect bugs.

The only features available at the moment are:

  • Login
  • Servers, DMs, groups
  • Server channels list
  • Text channels, DMs and groups reading: text with Markdown, pictures, partitialy GIFs, partitialy other attachments, references (replied and forwarded messages)
  • Text channels, DMs and groups sending: text, attachments
  • Reactions in text channels, DMs and groups

Nice app. What am I am missing is some sort of progress spinnner during message retrieval. I am never sure if there are no new messages, or that I have to wait a bit longer for it to show up.

TBH I didn't fully understand what you mean here, but perhaps what you want is the "Show indicators of read states" option in Advanced settings section

No that's not what I mean. I thnk I can't make it much clearer, but I' try: then I select a server, I would like to see a spinner until all new messages are retrieved. Now there is no indication. At first glance I often think there are no new messages. But then I wait about 5 seconds, unread subjects appear. Until that time I would like to see some spinner, inidication message retrieval is still in progress and I must wait.

I just want to say, thank you so much for this amazing application!!! With the addition of file upload I can pretty much stop relying on the Android app for most things. Awesome!

I would say, app is nice overall but very laggy. Next update will (hopefully) introduce brand new caching system based on QtNetwork (QNetworkDiskCache and QNetworkAccessManager), which should make the performance better than with the Python implementation.

I logged in to my account in the webview, but it won't let me progress further. No prompts appear. The Login option remains disabled

Discord probably changed something. I will have a look at it when working on the next update.

In the meantime, you can login using token. I posted the instructions in readme on github. I believe it says that you should run a command in console, if that doesn't work, still follow the guide, but on that step switch to network tab, click on a request and check for the token in its headers.

If i left a group in desktop, sailcord will show the group with a black circle. Relogin / clear cache nil help

Could not reproduce but I'm pretty sure complete re-login should help. To do so, log out from the app, once web page appears wait until full discord UI loads, click on username at bottom left, select switch accounts, three dots next to your account and choose log out. Then close the app. Open it again and login as usual
