Tracks

The Tracks application allows you to manage actions in a Tracks GTD todo application (http://www.getontracks.org/) with your Sailfish device. The application includes most basic action management features.

The application uses the Tracks application REST API, and you need to have a working Tracks server application in your disposal. You can install it yourself or use the use the professionally hosted Tracks service in https://www.taskitin.fi/.

tcptrack

tcptrack for SFOS is a packet sniffer, which passively watches for connections on
a specified network interface, tracks their states, and lists them in a
manner similar to the Unix 'top' command. It displays source and destination
addresses and ports, connection state, idle time, and bandwidth usage.

Compiled from original source with sdk 3.0.0.8 I only reduced the required screen columns width from 80 to 79. Start in landscape and then rotate to prevent keyboard screen overlay.

example: tcptrack -i wlan0

trafshow

trafshow for SFOS is a simple interactive program that gather the network traffic

Compiled from original suse/fedora source.

example: trafshow -i wlan0

other devices: rndis0, bnep0, rmnet_data0, rmnet_data1

gpstoggle

GPS toggle for Sailfish. It is a cli tool that can switch on and off the location permission and the power from gps chip.

Version 0.0.3 and later has uid 0 so it runs with root rights! No root needed. Keep in mind that this a security issue!

Since version 0.1.0 you can change the location method.

You need to have root rights to run gpstoggle. Without parameters it prints the current status.

Options:

--help

location=0 or location=1 [switch location permission off or on]

power=0 or power=1 [switch gps chip power off or on]

Piepmatz

Piepmatz says goodbye!

Unfortunately, the latest update didn't work for long. So both Piepmatz and the Jolla Twitter events view are no longer working. The situation is again as described in the last status update, but you'll have at least the chance to inject own Twitter API credentials via libsailfishkeyprovider if you are so bold to get a license for Twitter API v1.1 access.
