provides fortune cookies on demand
These are the machine-dependent parts of the fortune package, i.e.
the fortune program and the programs used for generating the data files.
The fortune package displays epigrams selected randomly from a selection
of fortune files. This is an enhanced version of the BSD program.
The data files (which can be shared) are contained in the 'fortunes-min',
'fortunes', and 'fortunes-off' packages.

controls tape autochangers
MTX can be used to manipulate tape auto-changers, also known as "jukeboxes",
such that backup software can make use of the multiple tape capabilities of
the auto-changer. In particular, this is necessary glue for using a backup
system like Amanda with a DDS auto-changer like the HP Surestore 12000e.
