xz-utils

XZ-format compression utilities
XZ is the successor to the Lempel-Ziv/Markov-chain Algorithm
compression format, which provides memory-hungry but powerful
compression (often better than bzip2) and fast, easy decompression.
.
This package provides the command line tools for working with XZ
compression, including xz, unxz, xzcat, xzgrep, and so on. They can
also handle the older LZMA format, and if invoked via appropriate
symlinks will emulate the behavior of the commands in the lzma
package.

libnewt-pic

Package contains libraries, required by other applications as dependencies. Do not install separately.

Not Erik's Windowing Toolkit, shared library subset kit
This is used to develop subsets of the newt shared libraries for use on
custom installation floppies and in embedded systems. Unless you're
making one of those, you won't need this package.

festival

General multi-lingual speech synthesis system
Festival offers a full text to speech system with various APIs, as well an
environment for development and research of speech synthesis techniques. It
includes a Scheme-based command interpreter.
.
Besides research into speech synthesis, festival is useful as a stand-alone
speech synthesis program. It is capable of producing clearly understandable
speech from text.

openntpd

OpenBSD NTP daemon
NTP, the Network Time Protocol, is used to keep the computers clock
synchronize. It provides the ability to sync the local clock to remote
NTP servers and can act as NTP server itself, redistributing the local
clock.
.
This is an alternative implementation of the NTP software made by the
OpenBSD project.
.
It only implements a subset of the NTP protocol and does not adjust the
rate of the clock. Alternatives packages are ntp and chrony.

Package contains libraries, required by other applications as dependencies. Do not install separately.

powertop

Linux tool to find out what is using power on a laptop
PowerTOP is a Linux tool that finds the software component(s) that
make your laptop use more power than necessary while it is idle. As of
Linux kernel version 2.6.21, the kernel no longer has a fixed 1000Hz
timer tick. This will (in theory) give a huge power savings because
the CPU stays in low power mode for longer periods of time during
system idle.
.
However... there are many things that can ruin the party, both inside

zsh-static

shell with lots of features (static link)
Zsh is a UNIX command interpreter (shell) usable as an
interactive login shell and as a shell script command
processor. Of the standard shells, zsh most closely resembles
ksh but includes many enhancements. Zsh has command-line editing,
built-in spelling correction, programmable command completion,
shell functions (with autoloading), a history mechanism, and a
host of other features.
.
This is the statically-compiled version of the shell.

libfreerdp0

Package contains libraries, required by other applications as dependencies. Do not install separately.

RDP client for Windows Terminal Services (library)
FreeRDP is a client for Windows Terminal Services implementing the Remote
Desktop Protocol (RDP).
.
This package contains the shared library.

mosquitto

MQTT version 3.1 compatible message broker
This is a message broker that supports version 3.1 of the MQ Telemetry
Transport protocol.
.
MQTT provides a method of carrying out messaging using a publish/subscribe
model. It is lightweight, both in terms of bandwidth usage and ease of
implementation. This makes it particularly useful at the edge of the network
where a sensor or other simple device may be implemented using an arduino for
example.
