Sheerwater File Manager

File Manager is one of the many file manager applications for your Nokia N9. Simple to use and with a native look and feel, you can view, copy, move, rename, delete and share files with ease.

File Manager is developed by Sheerwater info@sheerwater.co.nz. For uknown reason it's removed from Ovi long time ago. I posted it at my repo for backing up purpose.

Tip: after install file Manager remove Sheerwater repo file to avoid troubles

Drop Cache

An utility to flush disk cache to prevent some data loss and to allow increase a free memory by dropping out an outdated low level cache (non-destructive). Just start it, choose a needed action and check the amount of free memory - it will be increased.

BackLighter

Don't want the device screensaver to go on and black out the display when using applications like speedometers, timers, etc.? BackLighter prevents just that. BackLighter disables the screensaver from dimming the device while the application is left running and set to ON. The screensaver can be once again enabled by setting the switch to OFF position or by closing the application. BackLighter also allows brightness control with several convenient settings.
