The Cython language makes writing C extensions for the Python language as
easy as Python itself.  Cython is a source code translator based on the
well-known Pyrex, but supports more cutting edge functionality and
optimizations.

The Cython language is very close to the Python language (and most Python
code is also valid Cython code), but Cython additionally supports calling C
functions and declaring C types on variables and class attributes. This
allows the compiler to generate very efficient C code from Cython code.

MatPlotLib

MatPlotLib v1.3.1 is a Python library for making 2D and 3D plots, usually using NumPy to calculate the data. See the MatPlotLib gallery to have an idea of which plots can be made.

For interactive use of MatPlotLib, it is recommended to install IPython.

NumPy v1.9.1 is a Python module for numerical calculations, using C/C++, Fortran, BLAS and LAPACK. Numpy contains a powerful N-dimensional array object, sophisticated (broadcasting) functions, tools for integrating C/C++ and Fortran code, and useful linear algebra, Fourier transform, and random number capabilities.

Six is a Python 2 and 3 compatibility library. It provides utility functions for smoothing over the differences between the Python versions with the goal of writing Python code that is compatible on both Python versions. See the documentation for more information on what is provided.

This is a Python library used as a dependency by some Python softwares (python-matplotlib >= 1.4.x, etc). If you want to install for other use, enable the repository and install it by typing "apt-get install" as root in MeeGo Harmattan Terminal.

System Monitor records and shows your phone usage detail stats.

Currently you are able to see CPU, Battery and Traffic stats.

More stats will be added in future versions.

This app turns your phone into a signboard. You type some text, it displays it as larges as possible, black on white (or white on black, if you prefer), across the whole screen.

It is useful to send messages across a room, e.g. during an university lecture. Or for many other things, which I probably have not yet thought of.

Screen-message is also available on Debian (apt-get install sm) and as a webpage and FirefoxOS app at http://sm.nomeata.de/.

Carpark Oulu

Sailfish app which displays number of free places at parking halls in Oulu.

Reservation statuses of parking halls is retrieved from open data provided by the City of Oulu.

Application provides short summary of free places in the cover page and a little more detailed information at actual application page. Pull down menu contains actions for refreshing view.
