Traces the route taken by packets over an IPv4/IPv6 network

The traceroute utility displays the route used by IP packets on their way to a specified network (or Internet) host. Traceroute displays the IP number and host name (if possible) of the machines along the route taken by the packets.

Traceroute is used as a network debugging tool. If you're having network connectivity problems, traceroute will show you where the trouble is coming from along the route.

Install traceroute if you need a tool for diagnosing network connectivity problems.

[Outdated] Patch: Battery StatusBar on Lockscreen

Doesn't work on 1.1.9, i'm not going to release an update since battery is natively visible in the lock screen since this update.

 

This patch displays a simple status bar on the Lockscreen showing the battery charge.

Disable patch before software updates.

If patch isn't working after update 11 try this:

devel-su
cd /usr/share/lipstick-jolla-home-qt5/lockscreen
rm BatteryStatusBar.qml

Then it should ask you:

rm: remove regular file `BatteryStatusBar.qml'?

answer yes

The GNU sed stream editor

sed reads the specified files or the standard input if no files are specified, makes editing changes according to a list of commands, and writes the results to the standard output.

Due to conflicts with busybox and SDK, the binary of 'sed' is stored in /usr/bin/gnu, which could be added to $PATH, and also available as 'gsed'.

GNU grep, egrep and fgrep

'grep' is a utility to search for text in files; it can be used from the command line or in scripts.  Even if you don't want to use it, other packages on your system probably will.

findutils-gnu

utilities for finding files--find, xargs

GNU findutils provides utilities to find files meeting specified criteria and perform various actions on the files which are found.

This package contains 'find' and 'xargs'; however, 'locate' has been split off into a separate package.
