PycURL is a Python interface to libcurl. PycURL can be used to fetch objects identified by a URL from a Python program, similar to the urllib Python module. PycURL is mature, very fast, and supports a lot of features.

Even if it is available in mer-tools repository, it is here to be used as IPython dependency for users who doesn't have the mer-tools repository enabled.

MatPlotLib (v1.4.2) is a Python library for making 2D and 3D plots, usually using NumPy to calculate the data. See the MatPlotLib gallery to have an idea of which plots can be made.

For interactive use of MatPlotLib, it is recommended to install IPython for Sailfish OS.

NumPy (v1.9.1) is a Python module for numerical calculations, with a fast and powerful N-dimensional array object, useful linear algebra, Fourier transform, random number, etc.

This NumPy 1.9.1 package has no Fortran compilation, no BLAS, no LAPACK. So it is slow in some functions.

For interactive use of NumPy, it is recommended to install IPython for Sailfish OS.

MarkupSafe (v0.21) implements a unicode subclass that supports HTML strings. This can be used to
safely encode strings for dynamically generated web pages.

This is a Python library used as a dependency by some Python softwares (Jinja2, etc).
