KO means that doing this action didn't fix the problem : the stock was still stuck on the old value in the watchlist, even though it was up-to-date in the charts page.

Hello,

The issue first occurred on Euroinvestor. I switched to Ing-Diba and at first it fixed the problem. However, the stock soon got stuck on a different value.

I therefore switched back to Euroinvestor and added the stock again. It got added with the old value it was stuck on before I switch to Ing-Diba.

It doesn't happen with all stocks.

I tried the following :
- add/remove the stock = KO
- change backend = KO
- install / uninstall the app = KO
- delete database files in /local/share ... = KO

what does KO mean? With with stocks does it happen? can you be more specific? If the stock price is not updated - please go to https://www.euroinvestor.dk/ and search for your security. I think i can remember the problem. For some reason the security price was sometimes not updated when you did not visit the security page on the euroinvestor homepage.... please try that.

Or switch to ing-diba backend - which is more reliable (at least for me).

I confirm what glanternier said. The backend i choose is Euroinvestor. For example the value of Xilam Animation (Euronext equities) had for last value 41 € and stay at 2022-04-14. I have any value for Bitcoin.

Hello,
There is an issue that comes up regularly on the app. The value of the stock in the main screen remains unchanged while the value in the intraday chart is moving. It then appears that the value in the main stocks screen is stuck. When I change the backend, it fixes the problem the first time. After that switching backends get me the same old value of the stock I had initially. I therefore think it's a cache related problem.
I use the app on Xperia 10 II

Hi,

which backend are you using? Are all stocks affected or only some? Which ones? Euroinvestor seem to be a bit unreliable for me and i cannot say much about the state of it as i am primarily using the ING-Diba backend which works fine for me. The stock prices are stored in the Localstore database and will only be updated i a new security price is provided, otherwise it does not get updated. you could also try to start the app from the cli and have a look at the log files to gather more information.

My Sony XA2 is running with Sailfish 4.0. Now Watchlist does not show charts anymore. When tapping at a chart nothing happens. Also no news are found for any share even with “well-known” ones like Apple or SAP.
Could you check that?

which backend are you using. I am currently having the same problem with security quote updates. Looks like the ING Api has changed. I need to investigate the problem, but this may take some time, since mine is limited at the moment.

are you still experiencing the problem? I just tested and apple works fine for me. Do you have some more stocks that do not work anymore? Is it possible that you can provide me a log file, if the error persists?

When I tap on a chart it does not show up immediately. But when I minimize Watchlist and open the app again the chart is shown. The chart is also shown when I tap it and switch to the news or details subpage and return to the charts.
For news the it does not works like described.

Hi,

the news are broken at the moment - because the backend is no longer available (next version shows at least a proper message). Can you go to settings and check what is configured for "Download chart data" -> There you can configure when to download the data. Looks like only manually.

Hi,

stock news in english is possible. However we need a source for the news. If you can provide me one then i could implement that. However finding a source is most likely a problem especially if it is a free one. The source should meet the following conditions: JSON Format (i do not want to do screenscraping) and it should be accessable via the ISIN in the URL. If you have a source, you can send me that via dm or post it here.

yes you can ask for feature requests. Do you mean top/flop market data on the cover page instead of the top/flop securities? It should be possible to implement that, configurable via the settings to choose either securities or market data. Or do you have something else in mind?
