Hi!

Thanks for the app it's awesome! I am just wondering, is the development still active? Can we hope for more updates or no?

Thanks :)

Hello.

Since upgrading my pebble steel to v3.8.2 nothing works aside from the ping function. Is there a simple fix, or is the new firmware to different?

Upp15's picture

Just got my Pebble Time and can't wait for this app to support it fully.

I hope the project is still alive?

Btw, in the info page it says:

Running v3.8.2
Latest v3.6

I presume I'd better NOT upgrade ?

luxbrux's picture

I have updated to version 3.8.2 my pebble, ping works, the only notifications I receive are incoming calls and missed calls.

luxbrux's picture

hi, I upgraded pebble with firmware 3.8 but no more notifications even if the smartphone is perfectly paired, it also works the ping, but nothing else ... :)

thanks.

Does XMLHTTPRequest is supported with Sailfish Os 2.0?

w32blaster's picture

Hey guys, I faced with small issue, that my Pebble no longer sends phone calls notifications to my Jolla. When my phone is ringing, Pebble shows nothing. But after the call is cancelled, Pebble shows me notification "missed calls". Has anyone experienced with the same problem?

Cheers!

w32blaster's picture

em.... this problem was magically disappeared... Thanks anyway ;)

Boris's picture

Nice to see that it is going on.

Due lack of time the only way I can support is beta testing if it's needed

Thanks to all for your great work!

Boris's picture

Did you cancel the project, or will it go on?

Boris's picture

Yesterday my Pebble Time arrived.

Installing firmware works fine, but there is no way to install any apps or watchfaces. Also notifications are not working. Ping works. Is there anything I could have forgotten to enable?

smoku's picture

Pebble Time is only partly supported yet.

Boris's picture

So I'll be patient.

Incoming call notification works fine!

I really love what you've done! It works perfectly with my Pebble Steel ;-)

Why don't use a more "Sailfish-y" icon?
Something like these ones that I've created as a demo:

Thanks a lot for your work!

smoku's picture

You really think these look better?

geekonerd's picture

They are just an example, not the final design to use. I made it in 5 minutes just for try something better than a mimic of another OS.

But it was a suggestion only.

I received my Pebble Time today :-D

Sadly, I can´t install any Watchapps or -faces using this great app.

The Pebble Store is dead slow, after i install an app it is neither listed in Pebble, nor does it appear on the watch. The device screen keeps saying "Your firmware is too old to support SDKv2 applications"

I use the most current release (1.2.9), The watch firmware is 3.0.

I guess it´s just a minor adjustment, so keep up the great work :-)

Hi There...

I wanna buy a Pebble Watch to use with my Jolla Phone - but now I see that there is a Pebble Time on the way in May 2015.

Should I wait?

Does this Repo work with the new Pebble Time?

smoku's picture

We will find out once Pebble Times get shipped. ;-)

meneer's picture

Great new release, I just updated my pebble firmware from 1.5.4 to 2.9.1 :)

Larswad's picture

Absolutely stunning, great! Jolla loves Pebble.
Now all I need is a Pebble, birthday soon coming up though.

yaliang's picture

I want to buy one,but I dont't know whether it will work or not (android notifications)

smoku's picture

Android notifications are supported (in the category "Other Notifications"). You need to manually enable these, as Android has a nasty habbit of sending A LOT of notifications.

mvuori's picture

Thanks for new version. The Info display apparently requires the very latest firmware version (2.9.1). Updating the firmware requires using an Android or iOS phone and that seems to mess up Pebble so that reconnecting Jolla only succeeds after BT connections are forgotten on both ends and both devices rebooted... (This all means: firmware updating function would be nice...)

smoku's picture

Any v2.x firmware will do. Maybe you just need to restart the daemon? (Set Active off and on again.)

Support for upgrading firmware is in the works.

scribe's picture

it's connectect but how to add aps into slots - im login to appstore (pebble store) but cant add apps, they downloading but i cant instal it to slot

mvuori's picture

One reason for that is an old firmware on the watch (mine had version 1.4.something but latest is 2.9...). You may want to borrow someone's Android phone and use Pebble app on that to uograde the firmware.

Pyro's picture

Is it possible to synchronize calendar events with the watch? Or is it possible to implement such a feature at all?

smoku's picture

Should work with Pebble Time without modifications.

But if not, I will fix it, as I already backed Pebble Time and will get one of the first batch. :-)
