Unfortunately I don't feel like adding this particular one because it's more a cartoon than a comic
You can see one of my previous response about this in https://openrepos.net/comment/9910#comment-9910

thanks I use app every day in phone. I just got tablet (one of lucky ones..) and seems that app do not work on it. It is pity. Any possibilities some co- coder who have tablet could check if it is easy to fix?

Just updated and I can't get the newly added comics to my front page. I select them in the settings and star appears but when I return to the front page none of the new ones are there.
Also would it be possible to add an option to show all non-read pages that were added after last check? Some comics have on-going story and you may not always remember to check every day for new comics and in some cases there might even be two pages added in the same comic at the same time.
EDIT: Examples that can't be added: Questionable content, The Adventures of Dr. McNinja, Nedroid and Andy Capp at least.

Thanks for the quick report!
I'm just releasing a new version that fixes this problem
Check:
- https://github.com/tardypad/sailfishos-daily-comics/issues/13
:)
I think displaying the last few strips will require quite some efforts (especially for the interface) as the app was never designed for this.
So I'm not sure I'll have time for it. The other features will probably come before. We'll see.
Anyway, I don't have a SailfishOS phone anymore :( so I don't add any new feature at the moment.
I just add new comics and fix small bugs, as this is easy enough with only the emulator.
I'll hopefully restart some more development once I get a new phone :)

Thanks for the fast fix. Octopus Pie shows only black, it seems. Also I would be nice if you could add Gone with the Blastwave: http://www.blastwave-comic.com

Hm... I think I know the issue for Octopus Pie
If you check its website http://www.octopuspie.com You'll see the current strip is huge (>1Mb)
I thought I fixed the display of big images long ago but it seems it still appears in some cases...
I can't do anything right now as it is working fine in the emulator...
I'm sure that its next strip will be displayed fine though :)
I'll add Blastwave for the next release, probably in 1 month or so, once there are normally a few other requests

Okay, cool. I also remembered that some comics like Dr. McNinja and xkcd has those associated text commenting the page which you see when you lay your cursor on the pic. Any hope getting those to the app?

I've just added Fokke & Sukke and Sigmund in the last release!
Unfortunately, I don't feel like Jos Collignon fits within the app as it is more of a press cartoon than a comic (if you see what I mean)
I already had this dilemna long time ago of whether or not to include cartoons from http://www.cartooningforpeace.org/en/ for example.
But I concluded that they have to many different characteristics for this app.

Well, then I don't think things like Nichtlustig or The Very Near Future fit, either.

Hi!
thanks for this great app! I do have a question: where are the comic strips stored locally? I do not see any "download/save" option and I could not find the folder where they are stored.
Furthermore, could it be possible to have also "Lupo Alberto" strips in the app?
I am runnung the latest (1.3.1) version.
thanks!

Comics are stored locally in /home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-dailycomics/harbour-dailycomics/comics/
I can add Lupo Alberto but the format won't really work currently as the page is too big.
I will need to implement some zooming or scrolling first but after yeah no problemo I think.

Great app, i'm enjoying it a lot.
If its not too troublesome i would be happy to see comics like "saturday morning breakfast cereal" (www.smbc-comics.com) and PHD Comics (www.phdcomics.com) and Diesel Sweeties (dieselsweeties.com) the last one is in comic sailor so maybe you can use code from it.

Hi tardypad,
I like this app, use it almost daily! However, my eyes are not what they used to be, and sometimes the words get too small for me. Is it possible to add zoom to the comic viewer?
Thanks!

I've increased the display size of comics in the new release!
No zoom yet but it should improve already a lot the reading and be good enough for most comics

Hi,
Just installed and favourited a bunch of comics, this app is grat, now I don't have to find the rss feeds for some comics. Also as a feature request, could you try to add Fok_IT (comic can be found here: http://nyt.fi/aihe/fokit/ and there's a guy who's made an rss feed for it here: http://kimmo.suominen.com/stuff/fok_it.xml)? It's one of my favourites, so would be nice. Thanks for the great app, though! :)
