Battery notifier will show you notification (real notification/lockscreen/audio/led/event screen) about percentage of your battery when it go to less than border percentage.
It will continue send notification every 1 minute (default) until you will connect your phone to power supply.
When battery is full (100%), notifier will send you one notification about this.
* It will delete notification automatically a few sec after connecting to power supply or when disconnect from power supply when battery is 100%.
NOTES:
* Defaul border number is 20%. You can change it by running this command as ROOT:echo 15 > /usr/share/openrepos-batterynotifer/border
Where 15 mean 15%. You also can do this changes with ROOT filemanager like FileTug.
* Default checking time interval is 1 minute. You can change it by running this command as ROOT:echo 2m > /usr/share/openrepos-batterynotifer/time
Where 2m mean 2 minutes. You also can do this changes with ROOT filemanager like FileTug.
* Service will start automatically after installation

It would be nice if the upper notification limit could also be configured instead of being hardcoded to 100%. I have read that or best battery health, the battery charge should be between 40% and 80%.

Maybe in the next version... I will do it with setting, like Btrfs balance checker 2 :)

Hi, is there a particular reason why Battery-Notifier always restarts Aliendalvik when I turn it on or off?

Hi.
It shouldn't to do this. Just now tested with Dolphin browser opened, when I stopped battery notifier it also close browser, I reopened browser and started battery notifier and now browser is not closed.
I don't think it restart dalvik, maybe because of memory it close opened app sometimes...

Please try this:
1. stop Aliendalvik
2. turn battery notifier on or off (toggle)
3. check if Aliendalvik is running.

yep, you are right... but like I said before it shouldn't do this and I don't know why it happens.
My script is not include dalvik restart command, you can check it by yourself in /usr/share/openrepos-batterynotifer.

I have a solarTOH and would be great if I could disable vibration, sound, notification when it starts charging. At sunny days like this it starts even in my pocket! Maybe Jolla knows when power comes from toh and not usb?

I can not see anything on my screen. Can you help me?
I have installed meecast-lockscreen an this works. But I see no other widgets I have installed (Calendarambiance and Battery Statusbar on lockscreen (patch)).

Battery notifier is not related to the lockscreen patches. I also use meecast-lockscreen patch and notifier work like should be. The default border is 20% and you can change it, read explanation above you.

Thanks Schturman, well done!
It's funny how your apps are always underrated, somebody seems to play with that!

Noticed that too, it's probably because you can vote without download/test app. Not so important for me.. Who like it, use it. That all ;)
