This app is an alternative youtube client. You can watch videos and subscribe to channels. Subscriptions are offline.

If you scroll left on main screen you will have access to categories. You can set default category in settings

Subscriptions import and liking/disliking video is only available if you add api key but API KEY IS NOT REQUIRED if it's not clear enough.

Subscriptions can be imported. Import is in pulldown menu on subscriptions page.

To cast to jupii, jupii needs to be running first and connected to device.

Make sure you have latest version and if you have "only avc1" selected try unselecting it

The download function is not working for me. I have installed the youtube-dl but still not working.

I have version 3.8.9-1 installed.
My download directory is "/home/defaultuser/Videos/".
I have previously been able to download.
So what can be broken?

Please limit the comments and maybe just use one comment and reply to it but are you using newest .57 version? check in about page

if yes then nothing can be done its youtube again probably

if you know your way around enough, edit .config/microtube/microtube.conf and remove poToken and poTokenTimer then start the app

The setting says: Only AVC1 (for older devices without vp9). I guess my 10iii isn't an older device. But I could not find any information on vp9, so I wondered whether I was missing some libraries.

anything above xa2 has vp9 so avc1 is not needed unless it doesn't work.

After changing the setting AVC1 to off, and clearing the database from diagnostics, it's possible to skip through the video manually, but I cannot play the video. No sound. Do we need some library updates as well?

It could be that your phone doesn't support avc1 playback but in such case I would expect it to just not play. Give me a day or so and i'll try to bring the avc1 back. Please stay tuned
