We've recently added a desktop mode that can be enabled from the graphics options to unify the mobile and desktop versions of the game. The releases here are all aimed at mobile devices with LÖVE without orientation support (all releases are tested on sailfish os but they should work on other mobile systems too), 

You can also enjoy the game on your desktop by downloading from source (RPM packages are specifically designed for mobile phones).

Spinny 0.7.3-1 Update Highlights:

• Save/Load System for RPG Mode (Story Mode): I've implemented a robust save/load system with dedicated save slots, allowing players to securely store their progress and pick up where they left off in the story.
• New Entity Type - "Dream Altar": Explore the world to find these mystical "Dream Altars," where players can rest. Upon resting, your character’s dreams are recorded, marking key RPG save points in the journey. This adds a deeper layer to the story progression, providing safe spots for players to save their game.
• Story Progression Foundations: This update sets the groundwork for saving progress in the story mode, offering players a more immersive experience as they continue their adventure.

• NPC Entity Improvements:
  NPCs can now be customized with different textures and unique interactions for more variety and personality.
• New Squirrel NPC:
  Meet the new squirrel added to Sky Fortress Act 1. Be sure to find it and start a conversation!
• New Shop Features:
  • Added a new type of shop and merchant to expand your shopping options.
  • New background music for the new shop atmosphere.
• Shop Location:
  The new shop is now available in Sunny Hill Act 4. Note that shops will only appear once you have started Story Mode at least once.
