Butaca (scaling added)
Based on butaca released by lukedirtwalker for Sailfish OS, but with better scaling added for none Jolla 1 devices. Tablet build now also included.
Just some visual changes I did a while ago, don't expect any further development (okay, just a little ;-)).

Butaca is a movie database application for MeeGo Harmattan / Sailfish

You can use it to:
Get all details about movies and TV shows: release date, overview, cast & crew, trailer...
Get all details about a celebrity: birth details, biography, filmography...
Butaca uses different data sources to present its content. It gets the information about movies, TV shows and celebrities from The Movie Database, an open movie database where everybody can collaborate. It shows movie showtimes -when available- using results from Google Showtimes.

The version says 0.10.1-2 in the about page? Do you mean you cannot find a translation file on the device, or is the app not translated? Because the app is Chinese when I switch to that language, and I see no reason why it would behave different on a xa2 plus.

@ade, thanks for enhancing Butaca's scaling.
Even though you clearly stated not planning to maintain Butaca, there is a single, annoying issue, which originally made me believe Butaca is broken:
In landscape orientation the three main functions in Butaca's primary window are not clickable / "tappable"!
Butaca's "About" and settings pages are working fine in landscape orientation.
Please consider this as a second, small fix, if it is an easy one.
Tested with "Butaca (scaling added)" v0.10.0-1 on a Jolla 1 phone under SailfishOS 2.2.1.18
P.S.: Wouldn't a link ("[1]") to your Github repo of Butaca be more appropriate than the very original and outdated one to spenap's repo in the description of your Butaca fork at OpenRepos (above) for forking and translating?

The description is just a quick copy and paste, I will make that a bit more clear.
Butaca is not made for landscape orientation (it also explicitly sets portrait), so I am guessing you are using some kind of patch to force all orientations? Anyway, I checked code; the intropage is expecting a portrait layout, else the visual objects do collide. I will see if a quick fix is possible when Historyscholar finishes the Chinese translation.
