As the original author Dax never released 0.9 version to openrepos, I decided to put this here.

Most basic question: how to start a new chat, I have the username but see no UI to enter it.

Yes, since today support of proxies and tor/tor+redsocks is vital for telegram to work in Russia. All providers firewall telegram now. PLEASE, add a proxy setting!
Sailorgram itself works nicely in SFOS 2.1.4.14 and provides basic messaging functionality. Daemon works!

Hi, there! Sailorgram is known to work via proxychains under Sailfish OS. Thus, it's possible just to wrap the binary into a simple script invoking it with "proxychains4" command.
However, I noticed that there is no sound notifications. This version mentions some "change of haptic.type". Is that applied here?

Same here. I've just installed the app but whenever I hit send button or send a message using enter key, the application crashes.

Since some days, Sailorgram crashes at start. Which instruction should I write in terminal to see what the problem is?
Thanks.
Edit 29.10: it's working now, don't know why, maybe a pkcon refresh inbetween...

Someone knows how to resolve this?
Package qt5-qtdeclarative is installed and libs linked:

sailfish version 2.0.5.6
