Android apps notifications

This app will allow you add your prefered android apps to Jolla notifications.
Inspired by this thread: https://together.jolla.com/question/109180/feature-request-add-missing-a...

If you want more apps here, send request with name of app and name of process. For example for Skype app:
Skype
com.skype.raider
To find process name of your app, run as ROOT:
systemctl status aliendalvik.service

Remember:
Some android apps CAN'T send more then one notification with sound and led until you will remove this from notification screen, for example Hangouts app. It's normal behavior of android app.

* If you can't install because of this package (lipstick-qt5-tools), open terminal as ROOT and run:
pkcon refresh
When it finish, run:
pkcon install lipstick-qt5-tools
After this try to install my package again.

like you can see in your log, you need install sailfish-utilities. You can do it by command: pkcon install sailfish-utilities or from Jolla store.

Hi,

I have recently reset my Jolla to factory settings, which also deleted all installed OS updates. I am now back to 2.0.4.14. I used to have android-apps-notification installed, but now I get the error message: "nothing provides sailfish-version <= 2.0.3-10.36.14.jolla". Can you please update the RPM requirements?

The latest version (0.2-3) support 2.0.4.14... Just udate my repo from waehouse or simply run: pkcon refresh from terminal and try install again ;)

Sage has just added some of the most requested ones in a pull request on the open source package in Mer:

Instead of maintaining a separate package, why not create your own pull requests for these? Then they'll get integrated and will never need reinstalling. Do you have an account on the Mer gitlab?

No I don't have, and don't know how to use it...

If you can, just copy from description this list of apps names and add to Sage's pull. I don't know if this apps is most requested or not and If it will be added I will remove them from my app ;)

P.S. My app include not only list of apps, it also include sound and led notification for app that not Mail or Message ;)

Would you like one? Gotta make it easier for guys like you to get in there. These are your additions, and you should get the credit for them. Only talking about the android app definitions though - the other stuff you mentioned is great where it is..

Thanks for the fast response! But there's still no notifications from the app. Your package works good, it helps me for the Slack notifications. May be there's some problem in the app itself, but I'm not its developer and I can't debug it deeply. Please tell me if you have some idea and I can help you with something about that.

1. Are you sure you provided correct service name (bg.aha.client) ?
2. Did you applied running your app in background (Settings->Apps->YOU_APP->Allow app background services to start on bootup) ?
3. Did you restarted homescreen (lipstick) after applying your app in my app and reopen and close your app ?

1. Yes, I checked it several times. Can be seen in the URL of the app too

2. and 3. Yes, I made the same things that I made for the Slack app. I did restart of the whole system too.

I tried if there's some difference if the app is opened or closed, but no difference.
