Yes, nickname searching. I actually now noticed that it doesn't work with some contacts, but with others does. Problem is that I linked all my contacts, so there's no more "purely google", "purely facebook" or "purely native" contacts. But I only added nicknames after the merging, in the Jolla app, so the answer to you last question should be "yes", my contacts have nicknames in the Jolla app (and they were created within the Jolla app, they don't come from external services). And it does work for some contacts (actually, just one).
P.S. Could I also ask for a button to easily clear the seach filed, without having to backspace the whole thing? ;)

oh man, I love you! This is what I always wanted as a native phone app, just a fucking simple phone with direct access to contacts. I LOVE YOU!!!! damourti ps: of course it is a bit slow to open now but if it gets 100% native to Sailfish it will become faster I believe. I will use this app permanetly to give you feedbacks. The "type" of the phones in the contact are missing (home, work, ...).

Hi, thank you for your comment ! :)
FastDial is 100% native. How many contacts do you have ?

When I though about 100% native, I was thinking that is would be on the OS level when starting up and syncing, but I'm not sure if that is relevant.
I have 438 contacts with quite many info inside each.

It would be great if she was looking for numbers in the history of dialed numbers ...

Hi, great app. But it would be even nicer, when the type of numer (home phone, mobile phone, work phone) would be shown.
