Note: it's been six years I published the first release working on SailfishOS 1.1; as of SailfishOS 4.1, Jolla does not yet allow libqtlocation-dependent apps on its apps store; this is why you still need to install manually as described above. Warning regarding SailfishOS upgrades:

to prevent any misbehavior of the cron daemon, please stop the daemon before starting any OS upgrade

Cron is a standard UNIX daemon that runs specified programs at scheduled times.
Paul Vixie's cron adds better security and more powerful configuration
options to the standard version of cron.

Vixie Cron has been adapted for Sailfish OS by Zeamoceq to prevent timer sleep issues.

A custom keyboard layout providing a basic qwertz layout without any üäö or other special keys on the first layer. 

It provides far better typing experience for me with lesser errors therefor for anyone using a german keyboard layout and encountering lots of typing errors this one might help you. 

Access to üäö keys via long press on u, a and o key.  

Keyboard layout is identified as qwertz in settings and needs to be activated there. 

Only compatible with SailfishOS > 1.0.4

mimic is Mycroft's TTS engine, based on CMU's Flite (Festival Lite).

Mimic is a fast, lightweight Text-to-speech enginedeveloped by Mycroft A.I. and VocaliD, based on Carnegie Mellon University Flite (Festival-Lite) software. Mimic takes in text and reads it out loud to create a high quality voice.

This version can only generate WAV file, there is no direct output to sound device.
