MSX home computer emulator
fMSX will run software written for MSX, MSX2, and MSX2+ 8bit home computers. MSX is an old Z80-based family of home computers which appeared in 1982 as an attempt to establish a single standard in home computing similar to VHS in video. They were popular in Asian (Korea, Japan) and South American (Brazil, Chile) countries as well as in Europe (Netherlands, France, Spain) and former Soviet Union.
Opera Mini 7.0, Opera Mini 6.5, UCBrowser 8.2, eBuddy 1.5, 2go and MicroEmu Demo 2.0.4
Note 1: You should also install one of the cvm packages which contains the phoneME JavaME virtual machine that runs the midlets. Note 2: It is best to first upgrade to the latest cvm package for your platform before installing this cvm-midlets package in order to avoid file dependency conflicts.
This port of phoneME Advanced allows you to run some basic JAVA midlets on the Nokia N900 running Maemo 5. The Nokia N9 with MeeGo can run this port too, though with some little inconveniences. While many features like 3D, GPS, bluetooth, multimedia playback, etc. are still missing, some popular midlets like Opera Mini seem to work OK.
