The strange thing is, setting MC-4.8.13-10.45.1 app warehouse (also tried to install with filemanager) does not work(nothing provides libslang.so.2), but MC-4.8.10-1 version is easy to install filemanager

Do I need to  activate Developer Mode  to run this app?

NielDK's picture

Yes, it is a terminal application, using ncurses library. For this to work, you need developer mode enabled.

In program Warehouse - I can not download (button install inactive)

NielDK's picture

yes, my repository for Sailfish is offline until ..,, well - not sure,

There was an issue causing problems (with bash on my repo) when people were upgrading to new SailfishOS .

So, allthough this is most likely already solved by Jolla, Iam leaving my repo offline for the time being.

You can still download using wget/curl/browser . But not by using Warehouse client.

Same goes for your other similar posts on my programs ;)

Thanks for the answer! But without the warehouse client I can not install prey ... He needs to load libraries and zipper them one by one can not set ... When this problem with the warehouse client may end?

NielDK's picture

Dont worry, I will put my repo back online in due time.

Just for the records. Warehouse is not the reason for me taking down my repository. OPenrepos.net, warehouse app has nothing to do with the update issue that was occuring for early-updaters. The issue was due to the update process grabbing my version of bash, causing issues initially.

I believe it is already fixed by Jolla, but I will wait some time for Jolla guys to get back to me.

Like I said, you can install using manual procedure, downloading each rpm file needed, and install with file browser, terminal, which ever (not warehouse app).

I know this is an annoyance, ut on the other hand, it prevents people from doing things they dont want to unintentionally ;)

For the packages needed to install prey, I have listed all the links here, and you can install them in the order listed in that post.
