Measure Tool

Measure Tool for Sailfish OS.
This application allows user to measure distance and height of an object.

Features

• take/save pictures

Guidelines:

1. Press Get distance button to begin calculation. Use the red pointer in middle of the screen and focus that to an object's ground level. Press the button again to get a distance. The distance value will be calculated in real-time which you can see on the top of a screen.
2. Press Get height button to begin calculation. Move the red pointer upwards until you have reached the top level of an object. Press the button again to get a height.
3. An object, which is being measured, must be on the same level as the user.
4. User can take a picture of an object for later use. Pictures can seen under See measurements MenuItem.
5. You can measure "flat" object's height on a ground level but that requires slightly different approach. Just like before but now take the distance from the object's farthest sideand then you can measure object height by moving pointer the nearest side.
6. Define phone's height(from ground level relative to object) as accurately as possible. Failing to do so will have an significant effect on the results.
