The Application has been renamed, thus you will lose all your offline music, and have to reload everything.

It is recommended that you uninstall the old application and delete the following directory: "/home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-cutespotify" to free the previously used space

 

CuteSpot makes it possible to listen to your Spotify songs on Sailfish. It supports both online and offline playback.

A Spotify Premium subscription is required to make use of this application

A huge thanks to the initial developers and to Elleo who ported this app to Sailfish initially.

Please be aware that this version only works with Sailfish version >= 1.0.8.*

Note about versioning:

Starting from 1.5.2-*: Release 0 is always the harbour version, Release > 0 is always non-harbour compliant version. The harbour version is a limited version with all *.harbour.patch patches applied. This is due to API limitations in harbour.

No everything out of "Your Music" is not supported because the used API does not provide this.

However you can search for Albums and from there look at them / listem, but storing them does not work.

then i will just place my offline albums in playlists.

still better than running the android spotify app.

also very good so see MPRIS support comming :)

I'm having an issue with the latest update and this program.. it could allso be the fact that I finally found a way to add my own playlists..

 

It crashes the app after it logges in and displays my list's for a brief moment, sometimes when i have a slow internet connection i can even change something in settings.. but it crashes if I try to switch from 320 kbps -> 160kbps.. Now I'm not sure if any off this is related... It worked fine for me with the lists...

 

One morning it didn't start but after awhile it started without a hickup.

hey. newest version forcecloses on start. my biggest playlist has about 580 songs and second biggest under 400. playlists are not offline lists and i cant do them to offline because fc on start. Tremoving  folder /home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-cutespotify/Users doesnt help. I have newest jolla-patch-1.1.0.39 uitukka. I have now used android version of spotify and it works.

Try remove everything in .local/share/harbour-cutespotify, e.g.

rm -r /home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-cutespotify/

I have similar sized playlists and they work just fine.

No use to Android Spotify app anymore. CuteSpotify is here. Some upgrades more and this is just like (and better) as Spotify.

Unfortunately it crashes on start, was the same with Elleo's version. My guess is it has to do with larger playlists, my account has nothing special except a favourites list of 1000+.

Feel free to downgrade then. And please tell me a bit more details, but rather do that in talk.maemo.org 

 

It seems quite weird to me that it crashes whereas 1.5.0 worked. Are you sure you have 1.5.1-3 ?

1.5.1-0 crashes upon start. Deleting user data (/home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-cutespotify ) does not help. Deleting off-line playlist does not help. Deleting the device as an off-line device from my account at Spotify does not help.

Since two days Cutespotify crash when it is connected through wlan or 3G.

This is probably a known bug. It happens when some playlists changes (which you set to offline mode) and on start the app crashes.

Could you try clearing your user data and see if that has any effect? Just delete /home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-cutespotify (Uninstalling the app won't touch your user data). (answer from here: https://openrepos.net/content/Elleo/cutespotify)

 

Then you'll have to redownload the offline list.

I have also had this issue and decided to nail it down.

I now have a local fix availble for this. I will still try it couple of days to see that the issue is fully solved before making a pull request.
