EmuMaster emulates popular consoles, such as PSX, NES, SNES, GBA, AMIGA, PICO. The gallery presents game disks with either screenshots or covers and makes this emulator great looking and easy to use. It has a huge amount of features: e.g. SixAxis gamepad is supported.

Games are not included.

The BETA version in this repository is is the latest unofficial beta of EmuMaster 0.4.0 from September 2012. It was never publicly released and was made available only to select beta testers.

No official changelog for the beta was present, but:

  • sound engine was improved considerably
  • PSX engine was rewritten.

The modified version ("fixed beta") by guten_morgen contains several additional improvements:

  • removed BETA watermark
  • fixed NES Battletoads (Battletoads & Double Dragon) freeze/crash (bug also present in 0.3.0 version)
  • fixed Sega Mega-CD MP3 playback problem (MP3 tracks should be in 128 kbps CBR to play properly, bug also present in 0.3.0 version)
  • minor cosmetical GUI fixes.

Lightdot, please explain why did you copy-pasted contents of this release https://openrepos.net/content/gutenmorgen/emumaster ? At least you had to insert notice that modificated versions of this beta were made by me.

You own description doesn't provide information that you're the author of the additional beta modifications, so you can hardly expect others to say so. How should we know?

As to why is the package duplicated - this is my personal repo I use for myself. I provide desciptions only as a courtesy for other people that happen to be looking at it.

I'm just not the kind of person who likes to shout "it was made by me! yay!" after each sentence. Both original app and mod was published under my account so, while it was stated that I'm not the author of original, I thought that it could be deducted that the mod was made by me. Well, whatever. Thanks for the notice about mod authorship.
