Please, can anybody write an App like WareHouse Installer to do all work? Without it the N9 is declared really dead. I haven't the understanding for it.
I had the same trouble. then I changed the names of the aegis.ssu-keyring-001.list and aegis.ssu-keyring-005.list (just put it into quotation marks or smth similiar) in /etc/apt/sources.list.d after installing RepoMirror.
after that developer mode installed without any issues. it was obviously still trying to use this old lists...
I'm caught in a loop where I can't enable developer mode, as I can't download all the dependencies. I'm on a used N9 where I've logged out of the previous owners nokia account, and can't register, and now can't get the phone to use the n9repomirror. I think your fix here is my best bet, but I cannot rename, or even delete the files you mention - I seem to be missing some root privileges. I've got the terminal from the developers kit installed, but it's without root acces. Do you have any suggestions? Also, I do not have "aegis.ssu-keyring-005.list", but "aegis.ssu-keyring-034.list" instead
Which program did you use? I realized it doesnt work with filebox (cant change the names as well). I used myExplorer to rename them and it just worked fine, even though I didnt have root acces at that time. Alternatively you can try the Root patch for FileBox or sudo to gain root acces. But try myExplorer first, it should work.
The excact name of the file (number) can vary i guess...
Hey Coderus, now that Nokia repos are gone we need some new way to install these, many of these packages can't be installed manually because they require some kind of root access (like devel-su).
Would you guys tell me when I downloaded all of this then what should I do? just install them all (by tapping ont them) and then go to settings and enable developer mode?

Well, I would guess this is just a backup in case the main repository with developer mode packages disappeared. In this case, you would just enable this repository and enable developer mode in settings as usual.
Also, like this it should be quite easy to download all the packages, so that developer mode can be enabled without Internet connectivity.
MartinK, Unfortunately because the Nokia servers are gone and a number of these components will not install, one cannot "devel-su" in so as to alter the repos list and cannot install Nano to ease such changss either. It would appear that major changes here, need to be made for standard functionality. I am now in such a predicament because of a failed "apt-get dist-upgrade" yesterday.
By the way, thank you very much for your incredible work and development on your "Modrana" package. To do so while also working on your Masters/PhD and talking with all of us maemo.org people and dealing with issues we found/experienced is exceptional of you and exceptionally time consuming. You are a quality person and we are all lucky to have you. - maemo.org username "monkeyman"

Trying to install it from WareHouse fail too... And for install all packages manually with dpkg, we need login as root, and devel-su is not found...

Thanks, that sounds great, but how do i rename a file in this directoyr without having root access? Sorry for being such a newbie.
I found aegis.ssu-keyring-001.list and aegis.ssu-keyring-339.list.
I tried with filebox, but did not work. I assume it does not help to try with terminal. Assume the problem is root access denied.
Cheers
