Patch: Disable glass avatar
Patch available to install from Patchmanager 2.0. Updates for newer SailfishOS versions would be only available via web catalog. No new updates in openrepos rpm packages.

Simple patch for removing glass effect from avatar showing as voicecall app background while calling
Patch for SailfishOS 1.1.9.28 only
For older release download second rpm from site and install it manually.

Sorry, my bad. Initally it only working while receiving calls not when making calls. Now its fine.
Is there any way you can resize the profile pictures to a square, so the photo isn't chopped off which is not yet implemented by Jolla?

What I meant to say is that, the contact image to be displayed as a square avatar rather than stretched across the whole screen. Since when the glass effect is disabled, the contact name is totally faded out and hardly visible. Can you do any tweaks from your end?

I installed patchmanager from Warehouse. However even after installation of your app and reboot of the phone, the background while on call remains the same.
