Thanks for getting it back!

can you add the features that the app search for an ISO on the memory card or specify a target directory?

beidl's picture

I'd actually like to get Tracker to find the ISOs so both internal and external memory are covered.

Created PR. Should work on 2.1.0. Tested this on my Jolla phone

beidl's picture

New version is up, thanks for hosting a compatible one in the meanwhile :)

Wedmer's picture

What's about merging other changes?

beidl's picture

I will release a new version with those changes after I changed some implementation details, fixing the requirement of selecting "Charging only" when plugging in the process.

cvp's picture

can you pls update this app for 2.1.0 ? :)

Seems like a very useful app. Is there a way to run it on SFOS 2.1?

Jeffrey04's picture

you probably want to add some quick instruction in the UI since the UI looks quite blank (a reminder to switch USB mode, and where to save the iso files).

is there a way to specify other folder (or better, make use of tracker?) other than Downloads?

Great app ! Successfully tested with the Archlinux iso as well as SystemRescueCD

The files remain accessible when the iso is deselected and the app is closed though. Is it normal behaviour ?

beidl's picture

Glad it works :)

Yes that is normal behaviour as I'm playing tricks in the android_usb sysfs.

I see. Some kind of file or search location picker would be nice when development is in that point. Now I end up into same situation as tualatin with DSL and HirensBootCD. My BIOS did recognize bootable device, but wasn't able to boot. Win7 x64 wasn't able to read the device at all.

tualatin's picture

AFAIK you should put your ISO files in Downloads folder. I found it in source code )))

Just installed this app on to my jolla running the latest Version of the OS I have copied the ubuntu Iso to my sd card but it does now show up in the app is there a special place i need to put the iso

Thanks Great app by the way apps like this make me love my jolla more

pilq's picture

Is there specific place I should save the iso I want to mount? I've already tried home folder and btrfs format sdcard but the app can't find any. The idea is superb, keep working!

tualatin's picture

Hi! Great idea for application, but it does not work... It should be working on USB-charging mode as I see. But It comes out as unformatted unknown disc every time I mount an ISO. I tried one windows pe iso, and simple memtest.iso. All of them does not work under Windows 8.1 x64, and can't be booted from my BIOS.

Thanks in advance :)

Try some Linux hybrid iso. I'll have to play around with making Windows isos work

Really like the ambiance in your screenshots. Anyway we can get it? Could you maybe upload it at jollawalls.com?
