Soundsail

Soundcloud client for SailfishOS 5+, tested on jolla phone 2026. Made with AI, i don't know how to code.

Features:

- Browse playlists.

- Search tracks.

- Likes tab and play all liked tracks.

- Now playing with seek, shuffle, repeat (off / all / one).

- Long-press on a track: open, play next, like / unlike.

- Download tracks to `defaultuser/Music/Soundsail/`.

- MPRIS lock-screen / system media controls

- If track can not be played, it's skipped automatically.

What doesn't work/exist:

- Hiding of songs that are unavailable to play.

- Home screen with daily/weekly/your mixes was removed due to not being able to make it work properly and will be added in the next updates. All commits are welcome.

- Login with email/password.

- Likes/Dislikes don't work.

- Importing cookies from Browser (thanks a lot Fintube) are halfway there but importing seems to fail.

- No like button in "Now playing" section.

App is still buggy and i'm pretty sure i didn't find all of them before releasing, please let me know what doesn't work as intended.

Current known issues:

- progress bar has his own life yet allows to scroll just normally

- playlists tab only loads own created playlists. Liked ones dont work yet. I hope to fix that together with bringing home tab back.

- sometimes autoskip on playback failed fails to work

- queue doesn't show all the tracks and limits itself to random number(i mainly encounter 38 and 40).
