Native voice call recorder for SailfishOS. The latest version is 0.7.4.
This application requires SailfishOS >= 2.0.4.
This application is designed for unattended usage. Once properly installed, it records every GSM call you make or receive. The UI application doesn't need to be run to make this happen.
Please refer to the wiki for usage instructions and troubleshooting.

Hey..many many thanks for such an essential app..i have waited for this app for longtime and was requesting everywhere for this help..its working great and fine..i would like to ask for an option which would be very helpful i think. that is addition of SEARCH option so that if i want to select a specific name/number's call recording then i can easily find all recordings of the person/number and then carry on with the next option like deleting, listening etc..hope it can be done..thanks again..cheerS ..

... after choosing the location in settings to sdcard, all old records are okay, but new ones give me the result: "ressource not found". In the recordings-list i see the call with the right duration but with 0 B.
edit: suddenly all works fine after disable and enable the settimgs...

Hi,
thanks for reporting. Can you please check if you can create a file in this new location, post your /home/nemo/.config/harbour-callrecorder/callrecorder.ini here and tell what file system type on your SD card is? Seems like a file can't be written on your SD.
Thanks

Dear all,
please note that there's a bug in 0.3-5 packaging that disallows autostartup of clean installations of the call recorder. See README for workaround, or update to version 0.3-6. As a side effect of this update you will need to start the callrecorder again with the cover action or using Settings -> Active.
Cheers

Awesome application. Every essential feature already exist, but I think that a feature to turn off recording for some specific contacts would be good.

This looks great. I noticed that it actually has another improvement to the default Sailfish OS behaviour - the extended call log. I think you should take this feature and create another app for only that, because I think many ppl would love to have complete call log even though they don't have the need for call recording itself. By complete call log I mean the ability to show every call made in comparison to the default behaviour - only the most recent call to a number.

Hi
thanks for suggestion, I'll consider it some time later. My main concern is that it won't replace the default application anyway. One can initiate a call from a 3rd party app, but after that you will be taken back to SailfishOS' voice call UI.
The reason for showing the most recent calls to a number, by the way, is that it is stored in the underlying database this way. I think making change to nemo commhistory instead would eliminate the need of 3rd party app.

Hi,
Thanks for reporting. Can you please check if this would work for you:
If after that
shows 'loaded (...; enabled)' on the second line, it will start automatically upon reboot

no, because it already works on my phone.
I tried to tell you that enabling didn't work, but starting did.
Thx for the app.

Yes, starting works but if the service is disabled, it won't start automatically after the phone is rebooted, and you have to do manual starting again. The command I proposed above does manually what 'systemctl enable' does.

Great app, just in time for me! I wanted a jolla phone (cuz i'm a hipster, prolly), and also needed a call recorder for doing interviews over the phone. Bought a Jolla yesterday and now I can record phone calls with this app. Thanks a bunch!

Yesterday I tried to record a call which goes through BT and recording is silent. I thought it is already fixed? (Aqua as Jolla C, Sailfish 2.1.3.7, C-R 7.2.0)
I have connected without BT, then turned BT device on (auto connected). Since that moment recording is silent.
I have experimented a little today and sometimes recording is silent or when switching between sources of voice it doesn't switch back to BT (UI shows remote headphones but sound still goes through external phone speaker).
Recording becomes kind of unreliable.

Great application !!!
One more vote from me for option to enable/disable application and possibility to delete selected recordings.
BTW, where are these recordings saved currently ?
For icon, I suggest you to change microphone with a magnetic tape. It would be more intuitive ... I think. :-)

Hi,
For features you mentioned please monitor this and this. For storage please see the corresponding section in README.
Unfortunately, I'm not very good at icons or graphic design, just pulled together what was found on the internet and looked at least not horrible... :) If you could help in any way, that would be great.
Thanks
