On the Community port Motorola Edge 30 Neo I can use this app the first time after the installation without problems. But after a reboot  the Backend cannot start and I get the error message:  read error on collection harbourwhatsapp3 (not eligible as target): getSecret: daemon result code=2 errorCode=11: Password Agent was unable to verify the authenticity of the user

I dont know if there is a problem with this app or this port

Not able to see status, just text , no picture and video

Hello, if a user changed his profile picture, the backend not updated it. To make a refresh I could delete his picture in .local/share/harbour/... and the new picture was downloaded. Maybe its possible to create a menu entry  or a buttom for this in future? Thanks in advance. 

As you'll definitely have to change name at some point, some suggestions: Wazzup, WhatsUp, WTFisUp, WhoaApp, WhatApp, ThatsApp... No AI involved thus far!

Hello, super to see you work every week on it. Nice also the small visual changes in the status tab. I ask me if its possible to make two status tab, on with pictures and one with users like in the secound page under settings switchable. For this particular app, I'd
1. move logout and profile to settings
2. merge new group and chat into one menu item
3. remove "join via link" completely and add a link handler, so you could just open wa.me or whatever link in browser and it would open in the app
4. for channels, either remove them completely as they should appear in the full chat list anyway or move them to search. another way would be to add a tab with Opal.Tabs (or stock Silica tabs, but that's harder to use)After that you'd have reload, settings, search and new chat/group. It's still not 3, but already much better
Note that I don't use whatsapp anymore, so these suggestions might need to be checked by someone who is more of an expert in that side

As much as I hate Whatsapp in general, this is much better experience on SailfishOS than any native Matrix clients published. Many thanks!

I'd maybe suggest changing the name of that app, once Meta figures it out I'm sure you'd get a letter/email from them.

Are polls usable?

Today I tested the new version 0.9.255 and the most thinks works.Thanks for your quick work aggain! Only 2 thinks not work for me or I not unstand the handling. 1. The new user list form for status is empty also if I open a chat from a new status sender. 2. If I mute a user for status the posts are unvisible but I cannot bring back ist because the List for hidden status members are empty. The last think is, the slider menu in chats are sometimes a little bit tricky. If I scroll at the end somtimes the menu open and make a action. Today I deleted a chat because it and the stop timer are also verry short. The deleted chat is only deleted in the harbour app. In Android the chat exist. Can I bring back this without a complete disconection? Maybbe its enought to make the remorse timer longer to cancel a not planned action...

Hello aviarus, After one day using, all new features are running - Thank you for your time!!!
Follow new ideas I have collected in a list.
1. Muting Status for special contacts (idea from kempertom)
2. Blur header in Chats
3. pcexec buttums for root commands in settings (its easier for not terminal user)
4. Deleting the open Notifiation in Evenstview if reading the post in the app. This false is only, if WA is renamed, because the daemon and the eventnotifi is not renamed.
5. Status page like the chat page with users and under this the pictures
6. The new zoom for pictures is not in center and the picture moved down - maybe its posible to change it
I closed now the App support complete and work only with sailfish apps. It so perfect!!!

I have a question. I used to use Element for Matrix for chat. Beside the option fur bubbles there was an option without bubbles. What if the messeges would appear in changing colored lines rather than bubbles. With reactions included (hope you know what I mean)

Hello - the last update was perfect aggain. I wrote now a own patch, for the renaming the App because my notification count in switcher. and the collition with the org whatsappapp if running in bachgraund. I change with the patch only in the file harbour-whatsapp.qml the line 681 to >appName: "WhatsSail"<, line 1181 > title: "WhatsSail"< and also the app name in the desktop file. The phone number under the header are also not so nice for me (eveybody can read it). The own Avatar and Name is better in my opinion. In the statusview is the grouping per user not so easy, but maybe its possible to bring also the avatar next to the name and for every picture If on user post 10 pictutres I cannot sie who had posted and must scroll to the last post up. In the chatsview the name from the chat partner is not readable because the transparency. Could you dimm this lable also like the bottom lable and bring the avatar picture next to the name? Oh I see I have so manny wishes and you have the work. First let it be Sunday and not programm on this day :).
