openssl 3.5 (for legacy kernels)

this is openssl3 compiled for legacy kernels (<4.4). It is known to work on my JollaPhone (aka Jolla1 aka SbJ)

It is compiled with kernel-headers 3.18.136 and therefore lacks ktls module. It also uses different seed for random numbers (/dev/*random instead of direct system-call to kernel) and uses libjitterentropy to enhance randomness...

*-0.50.3 versions require glibc_2.17 (any SFOS version since 1.1.7 / Björnträsket Jul2015)
*-0.51.3 versions require glibc_2.38 (any SFOS version since 5.1)

I get the following error on Jolla 1.

'nothing provides libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.33) needed by openssl-3.5.8-0.51.3.armv7hl'

GLIBC_2.30 seems to be the latest available.

no, if you have a Jolla1 running GLIBC_2.30 (default glibc on SFOS3.4) you'll have to install the '-0.50.3' versions of these packages
If you manage to manually install GLIBC_2.41 from SFOS5.1 on a Jolla1 (not so easy, you'll need some implicit dependencies like libicu73 , libreadline version 8 but you'll still need the old version etc... and live with some downsides: no working loudness keys, no autorouting of audio anymore) then you can install the '-0.51.3' version...
