Balldrop is a godot experimental audio toy. It is based on: https://github.com/Bauxitedev/balldrop a Godot 3.1 experiment.

Four balls are fired from quadrants. You draw lines for them to bounce. This causes them to sound a sample at frequencies related to the distance of the line.

My intention for this release was to:

1. demonstrate some of the rendering / mixing of Godot
2. Find methods for doing accurate touch interactions in SFOS godot
3. pump the hype on https://github.com/savegame/godot/releases/tag/v3.2.1-stable-sailfish-2

You can build this with either savegames 3.2 or 3.5 godot releases. I'm stuck with 3.2.1 because of my port.

Todo:
- more sensible, interesting intervals, scales
- add option to select rate

Oooohhhh - highly addictive and fun! I don't know whether that's included in your plans, but being able to have more than one ball making melodic noises (it's only the blue one at the moment, right? The others do percussion/noise), maybe even for differing instruments would be really cool... (...and make me loose even more time with it... ;-) )

I'm working on variant sound sets and changing the scale and tempo ....

Sounds fantastic (or so I hope... ;-) )!
