Kan, please, revive it again!

It still works for me. As long as it will work I'm not going to change anything. If qt5-qtconnectivity-qtbluetooth has benn removed after GUI update install it manually:

https://releases.jolla.com/releases/4.4.0.64/jolla/aarch64/oss/aarch64/q...

The following error emerges:
"Nothing provides the libQt5Bluetooth..." while installing on Sailfish 4.5.0.16

You can try install a package:

https://releases.jolla.com/releases/4.4.0.64/jolla/aarch64/oss/aarch64/q...

or extract required libs only.

Hello, I am trying to use this app, I have a Xperia 10 II and the bluethooth ELM327 adapter, that is working perfectly with any app in android phone, but for a reason I can not pair the device in Sailfish OS... is like pair and magically without any error message appears as unpair after a second... I dont know if is a bug or I missused somehow, but really would like to make it works. Thanks!

Yes, indeed it behaves strange. Follow next steps: remove pairing, restart bluetoot to be sure, pair once and then do not pair no more or connect using bluetooth and use the app only to connect

Работает. Use another dongle or car :).

This one works.

Cool, that you took this project over. I am not a developer, so its good its owned by someone who can maintain it!
Maybe you can also update the other architectures like archv7hl and i486?

kan's picture

I am not a developer as well. That are small fixes to make it work on aarch64. I would like to not mess with armv7hl and i486 as long as already posted at openrepos work.

I'm afraid that due to deprecation notice OBDFish will need a complete rebuild in near future to work in SailfishOS.

Understood. Thanks for the info. Will you share the source code, so some one can rebuilt the app using your improvements ?
