The new podQast player in the Forbidden Fruits variant: All that cannot be done with harbour possibilities and bleeding edge stuff - probably not working...
With 2.70 all development stuff can be found here which will then be released in harbour.

It hanged at the last feed. This is very similar of gitlab #55 issue. I tested with clean install, import from Gpodder (18 feeds) and it still stays refreshing the last feed.

Datamigration failed with latest 2.20 upgrade and it broke everything. I had to delete app's .config/.cache/.local folders and start over :/ ...

Just a small thing: when problem with one url channel, PodQast sends a notification that: 'Error opening url: not found // or bad request ''.
Thats cool BUT, it doesnt say which podcast's subscription is faulty! So when you have many podcasts in librairy, very hard to figure out which url to refresh....

Hello!
Great new version!
One little issue i have: Whenever i change the 'refresh' time, the new setting is never saved when reopening the app...
Is that only my issue? Or a bug?

Hum, I'm very new to PodQast (I used to use gPodder).
I'm in SFOS 4 EA.
I'm facing 2 issue:
- I can't search any podcast in Discover view, nothing appends,
- I impored some podcast from gpodder, but when I select one of them, gPodQast only offers me to listen it in web browser.
Is it normal?

Nothing happens for me also (on sos 3.4) when i search in discover with gpodder search (zero results), but it works with fydd.de (also present in discover) for me.

- Did you try to search with the fydd.de engine?
- yes it is possible that youtube based streams cannot be played via PodQast. There are special mechanisms to let it be rendered with gpodder which are not implemented in PodQast by now.

Well,
for the first point, yes, it works with fydd.de engine, but I can found less podcast than with gpodder. I also noticed that gpodder website is really really slow, I think that the reason why it is not working on PodQast.
For the second, it's my fault, I didn't not understand that I had to keep my finger on the selected podcast, in order to see the pulldown menu. I was cliking on the > button, on the right of the podcast.

It is already published but Jolla deploys packages on harbour only on weekdays (around 08:00 CET). I was a bit too late :-(
So we need to wait.
But the CI at gitlab will render the new images as well:

2nd, I am coming from Pocket Casts app, and would like to see couple features:
* auto-resorting of podcast library based on the most recent episode release date.
* auto-deleteing (preventing accumulating downloaded episodes more than N (3,5,10,etc)

Synching with gpodder is and will not be possible.
There is an option "save favorites" in settings. If set the posts are saved in your Music folder in podqast/favorites. From there it is possible to store the file to the sdcard. But there are symbolic links. Some file managers only copy the symlink, you must try it out which really does a copy (some do, some not, sorry)

You might talk about the SFOS version 3.4.0.22. Try to install the new update 3.4.0.24 which is available for early adopters since yesterday, oct 8, 2020. There the problem is fixed. See: https://forum.sailfishos.org/t/3-4-0-22-python3-sqlite-missing/2430/35 for further information what happened.

The ''erase history also doesnt work for me... Its like all these bustton/commands were frozen on XA2 3.3....
