No 64 bits

osetr's picture

I will add. Thanks for pointing

ScumCoder's picture

64bit version is very much needed... The official voice recorder is barely usable on Xperia10III

DrYak's picture

Hello, any news regarding 64bits? Thank you very much.

Thanks for updarting this app :-) Do you plan to replace the existing one on the Jolla Harbour store?

osetr's picture

As I'm not the original author of the Recorder, I cannot do it right now. But the transferring of the ownership is in progress (https://github.com/mentaljam/sailfish-recorder/issues/18).

very good update!

glanternier's picture

Do you plan to push this update to Jolla harbour?

osetr's picture

I'm not the original developer and I can't publish updates. I can only try to create a fork package.

slava's picture

Actually, it's possible to change the owner of a Jolla Store app. It's a bit of a manual work on the Jolla side and both you and the original author have to contact Jolla and ask them to do it but it's doable. That's what happened to Code Reader, for example. I'm maintaining the Jolla Store version even though I'm not the original author.

osetr's picture

Thank you, I will try.

slava's picture

Ping me somehow if the process gets stuck, I'll try pushing somebody at Jolla.

osetr's picture

Hello,

I think we need your help as Jolla didn't answer Corné.

jakecn's picture

Thank you so mach for support my language.

I was able to adjust the recording volume according to the answer of Edz on my post at https://together.jolla.com/question/194506/xperia-x-compact-recording-vo...
Everything works as it should on the X compact when set to 131270. Thx for your attention to this anyway. Great app!

Please add the reason for the fork in the description, including original git repo and current.

osetr's picture

It's not a fork indeed as I push commits to the original GitHub repo. I've changed the title and the description to avoid possible misunderstandings.

Very Good

pkuronen's picture

This is my most important tool for composing music, recording my ideas as they come. Thanks for the tool.

sdworks's picture

As you said, when put to 100%, no difference with the next to last version ... . Thanks for trying anyway, I remain curious. I used this app a lot as a musician, now I'll have to find another solution ... .

sdworks's picture

On XperiaX this app does a great job. But on the Xperia compact, the recording volume is way too low. Is there a way to change the recording volume?

osetr's picture

I've added an option to set the recording volume. But I'm afraid it wouldn't help because by default the Qt Media Recorder has maximum volume.

objectifnul's picture

AFAIK, the Xperia X has a stereo microphone. I don't know if SailfishX can capture two-channel audio from the microphone though. If so, would it be difficult to update Recorder for stereo recordings?
